Rejection of Draft:DietPi
Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
I now tried to change the description to better meet the requirements. Would you be so kind and start a second review? The number of tertiary sources is actually limited, so I needed to use primary and secondary sources. Especially, there would be many german sources (like magazine articles, YouTube videos, etc.) but I did not use them in the english Wikipedia article.
Thanks for your advice.
- StephanStS, It would be helpful if you add reliable sources. We accept any type of language. There is no need to add only the English language sources (in case English language sources are not reliance or available for your draft). It does not matter whether the source is published in English or non-English. You can add any type of language. Wikipedia accepts almost all types of languages. Thank you and happy editing. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 03:55, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, thanks for your help. I now added more links to tertiary pages. Shall I now do the "resubmit" (via the "resubmit" button), or would you be so kind to review it in advance?
- StephanStS, yes, you may resubmit. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 01:11, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- I think, there is something wrong with my web browser. I lack the ability to read your sources. Please resubmit and other reviewers will post review results on your draft once they review it. I am trying to read your sources. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 01:14, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, I resubmitted the draft article, so would you be so kind to check whether you are now able to review it?
Bromyard Cricket Club rejection
Many thanks for taking the time to review my page. I’m happy to do all I can to get it approved. Just need, if you could spare me 2 minutes, a little understand of the notability you are after using sources. The stats that are contained on the page all comes from one source, which is the Worcestershire County Cricket League website where stats can be located and searched under various different filters, but the link is the same. If I put that link on every stats table is that sufficient? Writerupdate (talk) 09:33, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Writerupdate, they are primary sources (closely associated with the subject) and hence they are less useful for satisfying notability. Please add secondary sources such as newspapers, books, magazines, etc. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:42, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Sorry
I am really sorry that I removed your decline notice and comments. I did it thinking only Tamingimpala's decline and comments are required. Really sorry for my mistake and again very sorry if I hurt you. I have put back all the comments and notices in Draft:Lakshmi Ghar Aayi the same way it was before. Believe me I am not a sockpuppet or anything, just wanted a article for this show because this is one of my favorite shows on tv. This is the last time I submitted Draft:Lakshmi Ghar Aayi for review because I don't have any more references on the show, which is why I did not re-submit Draft:Priyanka Choudhary because I don't have any other reference about her. I am retiring from wikipedia because I came here only to create articles of Lakshmi Ghar Aayi, Shubhashish Jha and Priyanka Choudhary. I have given my best in all the three and I'm really sorry if I hurt you or anyone in that process. Thank you for your reviews and really sorry once again.--Creativitylove (talk) 13:01, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Creativitylove, No worries. Sometimes it happens unintentionally. Cheers TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 13:02, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- TheBirdsShedTears Thanks, can you please clarify a doubt? Will there be any issues with the drafts of Lakshmi Ghar Aayi, Shubhashis Jha and Priyanka Choudhary if I retire? I mean it has expiry of another 6 months right? Because if I get any other references after 2 or 3 months, can I login and add them? I am retiring because I really don't have time to change something here that's why. Don't take me wrong🙂Creativitylove (talk) 14:00, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- Creativitylove, Yes, I feel you can update/improve your draft. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 14:04, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Thank you so much 🥰! Happy editing Creativitylove (talk) 14:06, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Brody Brown
Thanks for taking the time to comment on the Brody Brown draft. I removed the word "diverse" and deleted the fancy grammar on Draft:Brody Brown. As for notability, he has been nominated for nine Grammy awards and won six. JSFarman2 (talk)
Rejection of Draft : CarryMinati videography
Hello @TheBirdsShedTears:, Hey please review this Draft : CarryMinati videography again because this article is totally different from CarryMinati, it's about his videography and I believe this article have enough content for article creation so it should be approved thanku. Menu maharaj (talk) 09:46, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Menu maharaj, I feel CarryMinati's videography doesn't need to be added in a separate stand-alone article. You are welcome to update existing article with videography. You may consider merging videography to existing article. Thank you and happy editing. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:50, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- Menu maharaj, If you feel i made a mistake or declined your AfC submission unreasonably, your may file a re-reviews request at AfC help desk. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:57, 31 July 2021 (UTC)

Reasons for your rejection
Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
I would like to thank you for reviewing my submission of Draft:Yılmaz Argüden. You’ve commented on two issues, one was that i was self referencing to wikipedia itself, which i’ve corrected. The other issue was giving references that are works of Yilmaz Arguden, which are now either replaced or supported with secondary sources.
I will appreciate if you can take a look to my submission once again and provide any help and/or comments to make it acceptable.
Thanks again Ozhanbinici (talk) 09:01, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
- Ozhanbinici, I have already reviewed your draft. If you feel your draft is ready, you may resubmit it and other reviewers will post the results on your talk page. Please read general notability guidelines for future references. Thank you TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 09:26, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
Reasons for your rejection
Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
First, I would like to thank you for reviewing my AfC of Draft:Jose Perez (actor). When I submitted my first Draft, I was unaware that IMDB was not a reliable source and used it extensively. I thought I had replaced all those references with better sources before I resubmitted it, but now I see I missed a few. I will take care of that before I resubmit it.
I am confused by the charge that the current draft was not written in a neutral tone, however. Could you please identify any text I wrote that is in any way not neutral and I will immediately correct it.
Thanks again Perrydigm (talk) 23:31, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Here are some words/terms/phrases that violates NPOV;
- _'rose to notability"
- _"significant role in a notable production" (cited with IMDb)
- _"most significant contribution" (cited with film database site).
- _and so on...
- Please note, IMDb may be used in external links. Film database sites, including IMDb may be used for verifiability, but may not be useful for adequately determining notability. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 23:53, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for explaining. I thought of those phrases as just descriptive (like the "known for" designator), but now that I understand I will amend them.
- Unfortunately, I am still (or again) confused now about references. If IMDB isn't objectionable in and of itself as you explain here, and replacing its citations won't fix my citation issue as you imply, I'm not sure I understand what would. Don't the multiple citations of articles specifically focused on him and his work show notability?
- Thanks again for your time.
Perrydigm (talk) 00:36, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
- I believe these references constitute verifiable evidence of "significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions", as called for in WP:NACTOR
- Perrydigm, My free trial subscription ended today, therefore, I lack the ability to access the content at newspaper(dot)com. Other reviewers will review your AfC submission. If possible, remove trivial mention sources as WP:CITEKILL makes difficult to verify the facts. Keep only a few great sources than 83. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 22:27, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, TheBirdsShedTears. Thank you for your help and advice. I will do some heavy pruning.
Reasons for your rejection
Hello TheBirdsShedTears, you rejected the draft of my page today because trivial mentions are not sufficient to establish notability. However, I took another IT company's Wikipedia page as an example. And it has sources similar in authority (domain rating, URL trust, monthly traffic estimation, etc.). This page also gave blogs in sources, and domains of different countries, as we are. I also read the page about reliable sources in Wikipedia rules. But I really don't see the difference. Could you please explain to me what is the difference between resources in our article and in a other company's article? After all, there are even the same ones (dev.by). All sources are also independent and multiple, only one is noticed twice. --Laveatein (talk) 11:55, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
- I don't know about other articles. If you believe other articles are not notable, you may nominate such articles for deletion. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 12:00, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
The point is not that their article does not fit, but that ours was probably rejected early. Please check the sources again. There really is not a single non-trust source, and we are mentioned there thoroughly. --Laveatein (talk) 12:04, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
The Belarusian IT-company Neklo has developed a mobile application based on iBeacon especially for the exhibition

We take every AfC submission very seriously. We do not decline or accept without looking into sources. To learn more, please read WP:SIGCOV. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 12:25, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, thank you very much for the detailed explanation! I didn’t think that if the company is mentioned even in the title of the article, it can still be equated with a trivial mention. I have added more reliable sources (in my opinion) and deleted unreliable and potentially unreliable sources. I hope that it is enough to improve the article. I really tried hard) --Laveatein (talk) 12:48, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
- Laveatein , as an administrator I have asked you a question on your talk page about conflict of interest. An answer is required. DGG ( talk ) 21:20, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
Hello TheBirdsShedTears, All the sources that are cited are reliable and independent of the subject (including (dot)com/blog sources mentioned by User:TheBirdsShedTears). Mentions[1][2] of a product by Loves Data[3][4] company or by its founder Benjamin Mangold is a great honor in the Web Analytics world. It's like a song that you wrote was mentioned by Ariana Grande in her blog. And the same for Analytics Mania[5][6] and its founder Julius Fedorovicius. Both companies (and their founders) are well-known and important figures in the world of web analytics.
Hope this helps and thank you in advance.

Cape Independence Advocacy Group
Hi, about your comment related to Cape Independence Advocacy Group - I don't see how you think there is copywrited text in the article. I ended up rewriting the introduction anyway. Please point me at the parts which you think are a concern. Thanks.

Additions to the article on Nanda Khare
I do not understand why you have reverted my edits. As I have explained in the comments, the list of publications and awards has been added after consulting Mr Nanda Khare himself. The reason for his rejection of the Sahitya Academy Award has also been added after consulting him in person. There is nothing 'unsourced' about any of these additions. Akarvilhe (talk) 03:25, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
- Akarvilhe, please read WP:COI. You must provide reliable sources to support your claims. Award section was entirely unsourced, while lead section written like an advertisement. Read WP:NPOV. Thank you. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 03:31, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
You're a better person than I am
...is all I can say, for merely declining User:Givvyfps/sandbox/givvyfps. :) --DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:53, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
- DoubleGrazing, I feel the AfC submissions of newbies should be declined politely as they're not aware of Wikipedia guidelines. I feel they make unintentional self-promotion. User:Givvyfps/sandbox/givvyfps is created by a 7 hours old account. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 08:01, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oh, absolutely — fully agree! I also think that declining should come before rejecting, esp. with new editors. Although that said, I've rejected one or two this morning already, which were just pure spam. This wasn't far off, either, but could still develop into something. Maybe. Have a great day, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:22, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
- I also prefer rejecting the too much promotional and spam pages. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 08:33, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

Regarding article edits
Hi TheBirdsShedTears! I realise that removal of content, especially that which has citations, is serious, but I understand that some material on Stone pelting in Kashmir is neither relevant nor in an encyclopedic manner. I do beg pardon if edit summaries were not enough to clarify removals. I removed two paragraphs as part of my edits-
In the section on background of ground events, even activities of the Pakistan armed forces on social media are mentioned. Moreover, they are not a party to political negotiations that could influence events.
The second paragraph refers to a Facebook page and Google searches linking to a few private individuals, enough to not find mention on a Wiki page by itself.
I believe some these additions were not a result of research or do not have authentic citations. A majority of edits made should stand the test of sufficient reason, and I even noted the violation of neutrality flagged by a user on the article talk page after I read your comment.
Thanks for your concern! --Hgosn (talk) 20:05, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hgosn, I completely agree with this[13] per WP:NOTSOURCE
this edit violates WP:VOICE and Wikipedia is not a newspaper
Agree with this[14]
You added complete statement of Indian Army[15] and removed the statement of Pakistan Army[16] with an edit summary Activities of Pakistan armed forces mentioned instead of civilian government
You expanded Indian Army statement with this edit summary Complete statement of Army chief and past incidents
.
Question: What is the difference between the two statements and two different edit summaries while the two statements are focused on the same issue? TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:37, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Request on 17:31:23, 28 July 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Hulud
The latest edit to the page added references that cited the software in peer-reviewed articles. One article was a review article detailing available software and usage cases for various problem classes, including this software. Another citation is a peer-reviewed article that details the use of the software to solve a class of problems. The last citation is another academic article that references the software and its core library theory. It is these types of citations that establish notability, as I understand. They are all secondary, independent, and reliable (peer-reviewed publications) sources. I am confused about what more is needed here. Thank you.
Hulud (talk) 17:31, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
- Hulud, work of Matthew Wilhelm, work of Wilhelm, this one is backed up by Wilhelm's source. This one[17] is unclear (does it say anything about EAGO?). Read WP:USESPS. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 17:43, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, thank you for the information. Although I am still a bit confused. The work of Matthew Wilhelm and work of Wilhelm are not self-published sources. The first is a peer-reviewed academic journal article and the second is a peer-reviewed academic conference abstract (independent publishers). This one is completely independent of EAGO. This one[18] does not reference EAGO, but is cited as it is an algebraic modeling language front-end that EAGO was developed for use with. The software page associated with [19] lists EAGO as a supported solver. Hulud (talk) 13:43, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Regarding Bassim Haidar page submission
Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
First off, many thanks for the really prompt action of reviewing this submission. Also, off-topic, a cool nickname, if I may say so :)
I'd greatly appreciate your help/suggestions in order to improve the draft, please: Based on the previous reviewer's comments, for lack of notoriety, I added more clearly most of the available sources from major, independent, third party news media, just like it is advised in the "Independent Sources" page you also kindly mentioned. I have added video and text interviews from media like CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Fox News etc. I have only kept the ones in which Mr. Haidar is the primary focus for each interview, not the ones he is trivially mentioned. To be totally open, I had refrained from including or highlighting them in the very first draft, as I tried to maintain neutrality since I have clearly and openly declared COI on this from the very beginning. While there are indeed some primary sources from company websites in the beginning of the article as you mentioned, which I can edit/remove if they affect the outcome, I was under the belief that the number of major news media sources were both clear and adequate in establishing notoriety for the subject.
Based on your feedback, this was obviously not the case and proof of notoriety is still an issue, so I'd greatly appreciate it if you could take some more time to have a look at the draft and be a little more specific on what type of independent sources are not acceptable and need to be improved as per the WP:IS, in order to better understand and improve it. If it helps and to save your time, while there are several other pieces from various outlets like the World Economic Forum website (ref. no. 11), major independent media sources that focus entirely on the subject are no. 9 (CNN), 14 (Bloomberg), 15 (France24), 16 (CNBC), 17 (Business Insider), 18 (Fox Business Network) and 19-20 (Telecom Review).
Again, thank you both for your time so far and for your help in advance, greatly appreciated.
Best, StefPap73 StefPap73 (talk) 10:28, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- StefPap73, I don't think it meets WP:GNG. Businesspeople and entrepreneurs must be the main topic of sources without influence of other topics. A source should directly discuss the topic independently in 150 - 200 words. We need only three sources with 150-200 words or 100-150 words each. If you think your draft has 3 independent sources, please link them to here so that i can better understand your concerns regarding draft decline. Thank you. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 10:41, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, many thanks for being so prompt. Also, many thanks for clarifying this to me at last :). As a novice, I thought that a subject's presence in a major news outlet as a subject matter expert was enough to showcase notoriety, I now finally understand that this is not the case as you have so kindly explained so thank you once again.
So, as far as independent outlets discussing the subject regardless of other topics, may I point out the following references, please, for your review? I will also try to locate some more that might be a bit older, which is why they were not included so far, to further enrich the article.
https://thefinancialtechnologyreport.com/mobile-fintech-entrepreneur-bassim-haidar-found-his-motivation-in-his-familys-past/ (Reference no. 1)
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/bassim-haidars-business-approach-get-out-of-the-living-room_n_5b4f5b66e4b0cf38668f672b (Reference no. 2, video interview focusing clearly on him and his entrepreneurship, not an overall theme)
https://www.enigma-mag.com/bassim-haidar/ (Reference no. 29)
https://www.businessinsider.com/where-to-invest-2019-why-the-best-opportunities-are-east-bassim-haidar-davos-2019-1 ( Reference no. 17, will need a subscription to read fully but the article is clearly based on him, even the URL has his name and the title refers to him as a "Lebanese billionaire")
https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2016/01/amnesty-appoints-telecommunications-entrepreneur-bassim-haidar-to-its-global-council/ (Reference no. 33, admittedly not a news media but an independent globally respected institution nonetheles)
https://www.diligenciagroup.com/insights-resources/nigerian-lebanese-west-africa-s-most-successful-diaspora (Reference no. 7, this one is only 50 words so does not meet the criteria, included just for extra reference).
I'd appreciate your letting me know if these would fulfil the prerequisites. Meanwhile, now that you kindly provided the guidelines I will try to locate more similar references to enhance this entry.
At the risk of being repetitive, a big thank you for all your support.
Best, StefPap73 (talk) 11:14, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- StefPap73, please look at the sources.
thefinancialtechnologyreport.com - well explained, but appears it is not a well-established source.[20]
huffpost.com - this is an interview. What is being said or claimed, are Haidar's own words. It has no editorial insights.
enigma-mag.com - not well-established source[21]
Business Insider - It is a paywalled source and i lack the ability to verify the claims. Other reviewers may be able to verify the claims/statements. Meanwhile, i can only read World power is shifting': A self-made Lebanese billionaire explains why all the best business opportunities are in the East, even as the trade war rages
Amnesty International - full agree, no issues
diligenciagroup.com - it seems a consultancy or marketing service which is a primary source.
We do not accept or decline AfC submissions in rush or/ in bogus manner. We take every submission very seriously. However, we (reviewers) sometimes make unintentional mistakes, but we strike our review upon learning about our error. Thank you. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 12:04, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
TheBirdsShedTears, many thanks once again for taking the time. I could slightly argue on the gravity of the first link, Financial Technology Report as it is considered a decent source for banking/finance info in the industry, but that is entirely beside the point - all your notes are clear and well received with no issues.
Since editorial/third party references are what is needed here, may I give it one more try by pointing out another article on the subject, added as new reference no. 11, https://www.kathimerini.gr/society/976145/mpasim-chaintar-i-krisi-ekane-tin-ellada-kali-agora-gia-mikrodaneia/ from Kathimerini, possibly the most prominent Greek newspaper (article is in Greek but you can easily translate to English through Chrome), and also an existing reference, no. 8 (https://guardian.ng/business-services/ncc-chairman-applauds-channel-vas-founder-for-companys-growth/) from The Guardian Nigerian newspaper, in case they help the cause?
Overall, I would appreciate your understanding my insistence, in all honesty I do admit that having a subject that is a billionaire businessman meeting with country presidents and being regularly invited to top-tier media and global events as a prominent expert but I still can't substantiate his notoriety properly, can be mildly frustrating :). However I am definitely not here to challenge the rules but only to respect them. Please note that, despite the COI, my purpose is to adhere to all Wikipedia rules with this article, including downplaying the tone of voice if deemed necessary to enhance neutrality, once notoriety is (hopefully) established at some point.
A final note, please: The only apology needed in this exchange is one from me to you, for not getting the rules right in the first place and consuming your time with my questions and with review after review, while you properly uphold Wikipedia rules. So please kindly accept mine, along with my appreciation for all your guidance on this.
Best, StefPap73 (talk) 13:37, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
My article for ceramic animals
I would like to ask you why my article for the ceramic animals keeps on being declined, by both you and others. I have checked the Wikipedia guidelines for notoriety as well as references and sources, and to my knowledge the article is perfectly fit to be published. Yet it keeps on being declined. Please clarify this for me so that I can know what to fix with my article so it can be published. Thank you for your time. Cboi Sandlin (talk) 03:06, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
- Cboi Sandlin, this is because you keeps resubmitting your draft for review without making improvements such as adding reliable sources with in-depth coverage about the subject. Please see music notability criteria. Your draft has zero independent sources except this. Please note, trivial mentions and primary sources are also not sufficient to establish notability. Hello,
With regard to your comments in the decline summary, I have added all relevant reference that show significant coverage and adhere to guidelines of notability of people.
When trying to resubmit draft, I get the following error "Your edit was not saved because it contains a new external link to a site registered on Wikipedia's blacklist or Wikimedia's global blacklist"
Can you help me resolve this error in order to submit this draft for review?

Confused about the rejection of the Chris Buzelli Draft. The biography cites an interview with Buzelli by Caitlin Dover, managing editor of Print Magazine, writing for Communication Arts as well as an interview with Robert Newman, a past president of the Society of Publication Designers. The biography also relies on an article and interview by Tina Essmaker, who was the managing editor of The Great Discontent at the time. Additional citations used refer back to the original sources, such as an article in the New York Times on Buzelli. References to his book covers simply point back to Tor Books, who is the publisher of those books. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated and I'll go back to the draft and act on suggestions.````
Rezimmerman (talk) 19:47, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Rezimmerman, this is unnecessary to cite with 46 sources than providing a few great sources with in-depth coverage about the subject. Please see WP:THREE. If a subject has received in-depth coverage in reliable sources, it is generally cited with a few best sources. Notability requires quality of sources, not no. of sources.
This source is full of growing praises than talking subject's career independently. Its content doesn't establish notability.
This one is a primary source and an interview, therefore it seems less useful for satisfying notability.
This source is an interview, therefore it is not an independent source. It has no editorial insights.
I have no issues with this source
Also, I didn't reject your submission, but I have declined it. Regards. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 03:26, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Failed verification?
Hello. I saw your tag on Stephen Hogan. Not sure what you had meant that it failed your verification. An admin added that one. And I triple checked. Here is the factiva product that circumvents the Times paywall. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4lnguitsy6j5y94/Factiva-09August20212331%20Actors%20make%20their%20voices%20heard%20for%20audiobooks.pdf?dl=0 Please let me know if you still can't find the mention of Dublin-born, London apartment, actor, etc. Thanks. Supermann (talk) 03:33, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Supermann Please see WP:USESPS and WP:COI. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 03:42, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks. I categorically deny any such labeling. Please use any of the tools available to find out if I have any COI. And please assume good faith. I am sharing that article so that you can go around the paywall instead of mistakenly labeling it as "failed verification." Many thanks. Supermann (talk) 03:47, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Also, for the music video in the bluray release, it's right there on the URL. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Starship-Troopers-3-Marauder-Blu-ray/843/#Review, "The theme of the movie revolves around the slogan, "it's a good day to die,"...A music video entitled It's A Good Day to Die performed by Sky Marshall Omar Anoke and 1080p previews for...." You can even see the picture of him singing the song. At https://www.soundtrack.net/movie/starship-troopers-3-marauder/, the author wrote, "Finally, the horrible end-title song "It\'s a Good Day to Die" gets a music video." If you still need a source and don't find me spamming, here is another one from Cinema Blend at https://www.cinemablend.com/dvds/Starship-Troopers-3-Marauder-3267.html, "Finally...the music video for Sky Marshall Anoke's hit song, "It's a Good Day to Die". Snatches of this are heard in the film but the song should really be heard in it's entirety. It's a faux-propaganda ballad about the honor of dying for your country that is sung and scored much like a Budweiser anthem from the late '80s. "Here's to you!"" Supermann (talk) 03:43, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- And for your other "failed verification" on his stage performance lead roles, if you actually click those underlying plays, you will notice the character are lead roles. So how can that be not a lead role? It fails common sense. Do you really need the underlying source spell out "lead role" for you when it uses alternative labeling? Supermann (talk) 03:52, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Supermann, Please address the maintenance tags per WP:RS than posting messages here. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:01, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Will do. I was concerned with spamming. 95% of the Film and TV roles are verifiable definitely. Thanks. Supermann (talk) 04:16, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

- Supermann, Do you think we should believe Dropbox, database entries and other unreliable sources? How do you know Stephen Hogan? TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:22, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Pretty good assumption of bad faith. I don't know the guy. I only saw his movies and went on this journey. I am just providing dropbox link out of courtesy because it seems you can't circumvent the paywall and thus jumped to the conclusion of "failed verification." If you can go around the paywall, you can see what I provided is 99.99% exactly the same as the source behind the paywall, other than missing the pictures. Please pause saying Blue Print Review is a database entry. I don't know what's your basis to it when the author is notable enough to have his own entry on wikipedia. Are we lost in translation here? It's not making common sense. Supermann (talk) 04:31, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

- As one writes, a simple google search can find that out, say here at https://www.parktheatre.co.uk/whats-on/napoli-brooklyn/cast. Unless you say Park Theatre (London) can't be relied upon? Worst case scenario, you go to IMDB and see what's been claimed out there and you just verify it. Movies themselves can be implied to be the primary source when it comes to filmography. If you can remain open-minded, I can answer more questions tomorrow. It's getting late here in my time zone and I need to go to bed. But I appreciate your questions. Supermann, there are many unsourced films in your article. Do you think they should be left unsourced or on primary sources? Please read WP:PRIMARY for more information about your referencing at Stephen Hogan. It has been previously draftified by Onel5969 and now you moved poorly sourced draft into mainspace with edit summary Ready for fresh set of eyes after huge amount of good-faith edits to improve his notability
. Do you think it should go through AfC review? TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 04:56, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- I was advised by @Girth Summit: to try moving it out, "Now, I'll tell you what you can do, if you want to. You are not required to take the draft through AfC. You have the necessary permissions to move the draft into article space yourself, if you want. What will happen then is that it will go into a different review queue - the 'New Page Patrol' feed. At some point (it might be a few hours, or a few weeks), a New Page Reviewer will evaluate it, and if they don't feel that the subject is notable, they will nominate it for deletion at WP:AfD. Then there will be a discussion, like the one I described above, which will determine a consensus about whether or not the subject is notable. If the consensus is to keep, it will be kept; if it is to delete, it will be deleted. Another might be to redirect the article title to something he's acted in or similar. Once that discussion has taken place, the decision will be binding until such time as something has happened that changes the question on notability - like, an article is written about him in a newspaper, or he lands a big role in a major film or something." Thanks. You have a timezone advantage given you are based in Asia. This is the first time I have heard that filmography table needs sourcing for every single one of them. If you want to see that, I can add it tomorrow. Eternal Shadow saw a much older draft. Supermann (talk) 05:07, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
It has been rejected by our AfC reviewer Eternal Shadow[22]. It should go through AfC than moving a rejected draft into mainspace by yourself. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 05:01, 10 August 2021 (UTC) I will be happy if it survive AfD. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 05:13, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- I will certainly be happy as well. But in the meantime, could you please remove those "failed verification" tag simply because you can't climb the paywall and access the source for free? The news media don't operate like Wikipedia. They need to have revenue to pay their staffs to write so that we could in turn use them as secondary sources. Those tags are very distracting and certain contain misleading indicators. Thanks. Btw, he is gonna star in an Indian movie Sardar Udham Singh. Maybe you can help by finding some reliable sources locally? I can't speak your language. Supermann (talk) 05:21, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- TheBirdsShedTears, just confirming that I did indeed tell Supermann that they could move the draft into article space, because there's simply no policy-based reason why they can't. Anyone reviewing it can then send it to AfD if they don't think that notability has been established: that will at least establish a consensus on whether or not we should retain the article. Regarding Preeti Sood
Hi you rejected the article and left the reason WP:NACTOR but u have not mentioned how many notable films an actor must done to be eligible? she has done 3 films and one notable web series, all films have Wikipedia pages. so don't understand why did u rejected Draft:Preeti_Sood --Static Hash (talk) 08:50, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
- Static Hash, please read WP:NACTOR again. It days
Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions
orHas made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment
. She has neither played lead roles in notable films neither she meets WP:GNG. Routine press coverage, announcements as well as news about traveling from from here and there do not confer notability. Please read WP:IS. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 10:50, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Hello
Hi, hope this message find you well,
Thank you for reviewing my article so fast (M.I.U (musician)) As I can see from the response, you declined it because -quote-This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics-end quote. I've been reading the guidelines, and see no problem with my references. There are 2 independent articles about the subject. The articles are entirely about the artist and not just "passing mentions about the artist". The magazines are electronicbeats.com.ro and perfecte.ro, notorious magazines. Was it a problem because the articles are written in romanian and not in english? The third external reference is a discogs database page I found. Maybe that one is a problem? Thanks for your time,
Mihaela
- Mihaela Miu, please read referencing for beginners for correctly formatting inline citations than keeping all sources under references section. Once you add inline citations properly, they will automatically appear under references section. Also, Wikipedia accepts all non-English sources, however they must be reliable for satisfying notability. Thank you and happy editing. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 14:24, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi! I was following articles on similar authors to edit this one and other articles on authors- Anand Neelakantan, etc.. Also, my contributions to WP are not paid. I am aware of the policies concerning PAID and COI. Can you please remove the comment regarding the same from my talk page and the article in question? I am still just learning. I'm just trying to make WP more inclusive of the author community specifically in India since it is an ignored section when it comes to available authentic information. Thank you for the help. I will see if I can improve my future edits based on your suggestions. Lastly, I have made the changes. I did see various similar links to other authors like aforementioned in their articles (vi. Accolades) therefore I have added. To be noted- all my new Author articles would be for notable authors of the same or higher repute than the ones already existing in India. Just, WP hasn't seemed to cover a lot many of them. I have been doing my research. I guess many existing articles need cleanup (since, as I said, it is an ignored Article Domain). Therefore, I will corroborate my way forward before making edits. Lastly, I have resubmitted Draft:Rishabh Dubey post a cleanup. Have a look and see if it can be moved. The article now has similar number and level of citations as Anand Neelakantan who, as I found, is a fellow author of the author in question in here.

Regarding the submission you declined: Draft: Padma Rao Sundarji
Hello TheBirdsShedTears,
- I would like to thank you for reviewing my submission of Draft: Padma Rao Sundarji and providing specific feedback. I have now removed the sources which you had mentioned in your comment and have added more reliable sources to support the information in the article. These references of the news articles about the subject cover her and her work in depth. Would appreciate it if you could take a look at my submission once again and guide me further to make it acceptable.

Also, only Greater Kashmir source is reliable and two other sources are unreliable. Please read WP:CORPDEPTH for more information. Please provide three best sources that discuss the subject directly and in detail. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 10:45, 14 August 2021 (UTC)

Can you check it again please, and check the mistakes.... Ttttt321 (talk). 07:51, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- Ttttt321, I checked and it appears you misunderstood general notability guidelines. A topic about organization may be only notable if it is discussed in multiple reliable sources with in-depth coverage. You have provided three references, but all sources are trivial mentions. Three sources should discuss the subject directly in 100-150 words. That means, each source should discuss the subject in 100-150 words. Your added sources are talking about other topics and very little about the organisation. For example, if a reliable source discuss organisation's history, background etc. in detail such sources are very useful. When I initially started editing Wikipedia, my articles were deleted because I was not aware of general notability guidelines and notability criteria for people and organisations. Try to make constructive editing without WP:COI and I feel you will soon learn a lot of things about Wikipedia. Also, you may add more than three sources such as 4, 5, 6, 7 etc., but you must provide three independent sources with a lot of information about the organisation. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 10:35, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
- Can you suggest me any religious organization's (wikipedia article) which is likely to it, where i can learn something, please Ttttt321 (talk). 13:51, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I just wanted to ask, is the reason this page keeps being rejected because of the grudge Wikipedia seems to have against Independent Australia? I noticed in the chat over on the friendlyjordies page that there's a lot of slander against IA, most of it completely false. For instance, there's talk of IA stealing other articles and publishing them as their own which has never once happened. Anyway, I'm just curious as I was under the impression that Wikipedia was an unbiased source of information. Cheers!

Request on 13:21:18, 21 August 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Salamanderxander
Hello,
I hope this is the appropriate venue to reach out and drop a note, I am a long time reader and donor of WP, but first-time editor.
I submitted this draft for consideration in AfC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:ELONGATE_(cryptocurrency)
However, it was denied due to an existing draft here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Elongate_(cryptocurrency)
I believe my article is much more professional and contains more notability.
An unfortunate side effect of the immense popularity of the ELONGATE project is that the AfC has gotten clogged with many earnest (yet unprofessional) attempts at submitting an article. With advisement of my colleagues, I waited to submit this draft until we felt confident that the subject had achieved suitable notability (celebrity partnerships, millions in impact, legal incorporation) but our initial draft got denied because there were at least 3 stubs in the queue, as the community had some misplaced excitement and wanted to see the WP article go up rapidly.
I ask that you please reconsider this draft for the project, and I believe that if you take a closer look you'll find it notable. If this gets denied, the community will likely keep submitting poorly formed articles. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!
Salamanderxander (talk) 13:21, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- Salamanderxander, Thank you for your donations to Wikipedia. We cannot review two duplicate AfC submissions at the same time. Either work on the existing draft or merge your new draft to old one, or ask existing draft author to merge old draft to new one. Thanks and happy editing. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 13:45, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay, one point of confusion is this: the articles are not strictly duplicate in title. My article is titled "ELONGATE" whereas the other article is titled "Elongate". The all caps styling is more correct. What would be best practice in that regard? Salamanderxander (talk) 14:00, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- It is still a duplicate AfC submission. Different sources indicate different different styles, for example this source indicate "Elongate", this one indicates "ElonGate", while the official website indicates "ELONGATE". You may post your question at AfC help desk as have many experienced editors. They may find a better solution for you. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 14:32, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Seyed Ali Jaberi
Thank you for reviewing the Draft: Seyed Ali Jaberi. I reduced the resources and put them in order, please review again.WPooya (talk) 13:23, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- WPooya, 1-2 sources are enough to support a claim unless it is not controversial. No reviewer is going to accept a start-class draft with 43 sources. Wikipedia requires quality of the sources not the number of sources. Once a statement is verified, it is verified. There is no need to cite a claim with different sources that repeats the same/ or a little bit different content. For instance,

Hi, thanks for reviewing my article on Thomas Schoenberger who Cullen Hoback called a "shadowy figure" in the HBO documentary "QAnon: Into the Storm". I am confused as to which sources you do not consider reliable?
The sources I have used are national magazines and news websites, television documentaries cited elsewhere on Wikipedia, court records, and local news articles. These include Billboard Magazine, Napa Valley Register which has been published since 1853, The Daily Beast, documentaries by HBO and Vice, and the most recent book by a Georgia State University professor which was published by Stanford University press. I have also used sworn court documents and depositions available to the public. Kindly let me know which sources are objectionable and why, as this is important to know!!!! :) Thanks:)

Review of the page on Bassem Khalil Al-Salem
Dear TheBirdsShedTears
Regarding your review of the above mentioned entry, I seek your advice on you:
1. The references used are mostly from local newspaper, are those considered self-promotion or are you referring to a specific reference? 2. Regarding the sections on "supporting the integration of Jordanian and Iraqi Economies" and "careers", should I shorten them, or change the language to make it less self-promoting? 3. Regarding the family section, what references should I use, the father of the person I'm writing the entry about has an Arabic wikipedia page which I couldn't link to.
Regards,

Thank you for taking the time to review the draft of the Global Justice Index. You have left a message "Please provide more sources". I was wondering if you could add some details. Would you like me to add more content or citations?
Thank you so much!

Hi TheBirdsShedTears! Thanks for your feedback! I have edited the draft in the manner suggested by you. Please check, if you could. Also, I believe I have addressed all the issues raised by the first reviewer. If you feel I still have issues pointed by the first reviewer that I haven't addressed, could you please make me aware of those? Regards, SukumarThingom (talk) 16:10, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
