Ways to improve Randy Schoenwetter[edit]

Hi, I'm Musa Raza. Sdc3000, thanks for creating Randy Schoenwetter!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. No other pages link to this page.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Musa Talk  20:13, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 17:09, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I've had this account for almost three years and I've contributed much to Wikipedia. There doesn't seem to be a reason for blocking this account. Sdc3000 (talk) 17:30, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

What is the relationship between this account ad User:SThompson, both of which have been editing the same article from the same IP? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 19:41, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

This is a shared device and shared server so my account has the same IP as the user SThompson. I do know this user, who is new to Wikipedia and asked for my input. For the sake of full disclosure I will say on my page that I share a device and server with other users. Sdc3000 (talk) 20:06, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed abuse of multiple accounts. —DoRD (talk) 22:43, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please tell us who these other users are. There seems to be overlap between your edits. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 22:07, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Without giving away too much personal information, SThompson is my neighbor. I know this person in real life and they asked me for my opinion on their edits after creating a Wikipedia account recently. It seems they asked the account imalawyer as well. There is another one called devilintehdetails, but I don't think there is any overlap with this one, and sometimes users without an account edit with the IP address; those are the only ones I know of. The other users are people who are on this building's network, which is shared by many people. This is a shared device in the building.Sdc3000 (talk) 05:07, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Gee, that's amazing. So at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alis Rowe SThompson nominated the article for deletion and badgered every editor who voted keep. Sdc3000 voted delete. Imalawyer voted delete. And yet all of these accounts belong to different people? Being on a shared network might explain why all these accounts are using the same ISP/IPs, but you're also all using the same operating system and browser. So, if you really are separate people, you're editing from the same computer. Bottom line you're either sock puppets or meat puppets, neither of which is permitted by policy.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:17, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of people voted delete. I was asked by SThompson to give my honest opinion, which I did. It didn't occur to me that this isn't permitted by policy. I didn't think of it is as meat puppetry, I thought of it as giving my opinion to someone I know who is new to Wikipedia. As for other edits made by the others and myself, these largely have not been contentious. The few contentious edits, such as those made by SThompson to Keith Ellison, neither I, nor Imalawyer, nor the IP were involved. If these accounts were sock puppets, that would be the sort of situation in which to use them. Including on my page that this is the shared device and network used by SThompson and Imalawyer would prevent any possible conflicts of interest or unintentional meat puppetry.Sdc3000 (talk) 16:32, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Andrew Lackey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Execution did not gain any significant coverage, and there is no significance about his execution.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
