Username

[edit]

Please change your username right away; it's deeply offensive. See WP:USERNAME. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 16:21, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry User:Joshua Jonathan I cannot as I don't have any autoconfirmed right and thus cannot move mineusername. RoyalNazi (talk) 16:24, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone, including non-autoconfirmed users, can request a username change at Special:GlobalRenameRequest. DanCherek (talk) 16:36, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please do so, immediately; your username is really grossly insulting. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 18:52, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Joshua Jonathan I request you to move it to Zargar4567, thnks. RoyalNazi (talk) 12:00, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You should do it yourself, using the link given above. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 12:43, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
User:Joshua Jonathan, they are asking for an e-mail and I don't have any email id. RoyalNazi (talk) 12:47, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In case you don't have an email address, please go to Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple and request the name change there. NJD-DE (talk) 10:16, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Despite repeated requests, you're still using this name. I've reported you at Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention#User-reported. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 10:48, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Joshua Jonathan I want to name myself as RoyalBazi, not RoyalNazi. It was a sheer spelling mistake because B and N are side to side in keyboard. RoyalNazi (talk) 10:52, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please make a request at WP:CHUS which does not require an email, or Special:GlobalRenameRequest which does need an email (you can create a throwaway email address if you don't wish to use your regular address, or remove it once your name is changed). Your email is not visible to the public, and you can set your preferences to prevent others from emailing you. 331dot (talk) 11:00, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

By the way @RoyalBazi: your excuse that it was a spelling mistake does not cut muster with me. If it were a spelling mistake why did you keep making edits for three or four days using this deeply offensive and despicable name? Did you not have a simple awareness that you might be hurting sensibilities? Fowler&fowler«Talk» 21:06, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary Sanctions Alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Nepal into Hinduism in Nepal. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 22:34, 19 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
