Speedy deletion nomination of RDFox[edit]

A tag has been placed on RDFox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Contested deletion[edit]
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is a factual statement of what RDFox is, its history, development, and what it is used for with provided citations to demonstrate their veracity. If I have run afoul of Wikipedia's standards by accident owing to inexperience then I request permission to correct the page to the required standards, but I believe the assertion the page be deleted to be a far too significant remedy to the problem at hand. --RiceEnthusiast (talk) 15:02, 11 August 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about the existence of something and what it does. Wikipedia articles must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability.
