- Can I ask you to have another go at the incitement article? It's an important issue that needs a good treatment on Wikipedia. But I think what's needed is a good review of the scholarly reviews of the topic, not a collation of journalism. Veterans Today and Kourosh Ziabari
Thank you for finally creating this page. VT is used in many wp articles as a reference, yet has not article that one can use to research this controversial media source. It is much more useful to have a balanced article on this outlet rather than to dismiss it as a harmless "fringe" media source. I request that you drop your nomination to delete Kourosh Ziabari. It would be more productive to work to balance the article which currently paints Ziabari in a light very favorable as if he were an unofficial spokesman of the government of Ahmadinejad and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The article currently does not reflect any criticism of the policies of Iran that Ziabari is devoted to defending. The Ziabari article as it stands identifies many other anti-Israel and pro-Iran personalities and media outlets that would be lost if the article were to be deleted rather than expanded and balanced. Other sources that could use a page are Salem News, Stephan Lendman, and Franklin Lamb who also promote views similar to Ziabari and Ahmadinejad. Many media sources which support Iran or its allies such as Hezbollah or Assad are dismissed as "fringe" or "conspiracy theorists", but escape scrutiny as possible deliberate sources of propoganda and disinformation. Franklin Lamb is another peace activist who should have an article, though previous articles have been deleted for lack of notability, although he appears on many alternative media outlets including Russia Today, supported by the Russian government, and PressTV which is supported by the Iranian government. If you hold views contrary to people like Lamb and Lendman, then those who use wikipedia would be better served by a balanced article which clearly identifies their motivations and associations and who they work for / with (namely nations hostile to the US and Israel, and friendly to Russia, Iran, and Palestine) rather than using "lack of notability" or "fringe" as an excuse to delete media sources that have at least indirect connections to governments antagonistic to the US and the west in general. James Fetzer Promoting Iranian "Death Squad" conspiracy theory
Mossad death squads slaughtered American children at Sandy Hook Mike Harris of Veterans Today has exposed the pattern relating what happened there to earlier assaults: “This is exactly what Israel did in Norway; the political party that voted sanctions against Israel was retaliated against by a ‘lone gunman’ who killed 77 children. This is what Israel always does, they go after the children. “It is what they do in Gaza every day. It is what was done in Norway. It is what happened at Sandy Hook. Nobody buys the ‘one gunman’ story anymore, not with the Gabby Giffords’ shooting, not with the Aurora “Batman” shooting, certainly not with Breveik, and certainly not in Connecticut.” Redhanker (talk) 20:58, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

The article Digital Luxury Group has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Claims notability of a company, but without any relevant details or citations, it appears to be little more than spam
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 19:10, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) Tumadoireacht, your edit: removed "after inspection" but inspection is required; changed "separated" to "cut" which is simply not true, the separation is done with a blunt instrument; changed "foreskin is removed" to "foreskin is cut off" which isn't true in the case of a Plastibell circumcision (one of the most common types), in which the Plastibell clamps around and causes the foreskin to necrose and separate, which is why the more general "removed" is more accurate than "cut off"; added a duplicate mention in paragraph 2 of the lead that it may be "undertaken for aesthetic, religious, or cultural" reasons, and this information is already in paragraph 3. Please stop changing article content away from what sources say. If you'd like to discuss further you should start a new discussion topic at the article Talk page.

There was also a recent feature on him in New York Magazine http://nymag.com/news/features/buzzfeed-2013-4/ but this just largely just adds to the body of press references.

Deleting talk page discussion
Hi, I'm Carrie. I volunteer at the dispute resolution noticeboard. User:Atheerkt opened a request there about a dispute which you were involved in on the article Walid Husayin.
I have closed the thread because we can't help with discussions that haven't already been discussed on talk pages, but I see that (S)He did try to discuss it and you deleted the discussion. Please remember that talk page discussions shouldn't normally be deleted. Your edit summary gave a good, policy-based reason for disagreeing with Atheerkt, and for reverting his edits to the article, but you should reply to talk page discussions rather than deleting. Also remember not to edit war: reverting once is ok but after that you should dicuss.
Best of luck in resolving this dispute. If it can't be resolved by discussion, one of you is welcome to open another DRN thread. CarrieVS (talk) 20:45, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi, Plot Spoiler. I don't want to get into an edit war with you, but I wish you would undo your changes at Iran–United States relations. Arbitration enforcement sanction: WP:ARBPIA
The following sanction now applies to you (in accordance with the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions):
You are topic-banned (see WP:TBAN) from everything related to the Arab-Israeli conflict, initially for three months. The ban may be extended if it is not observed or if similar problems with your editing appear in other topic areas.
You have been sanctioned for the reason(s) set down in this Arbitration Enforcement request.
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision. This sanction has been recorded on the log of sanctions for that decision. If the sanction includes a topic ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions#Appeal. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal. If you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Sandstein 07:49, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Jon Wolfsthal
I believe I have adequately addressed your issues with the Jon Wolfsthal article. I removed the tag about lack of citation, because I believe everything is now adequately cited. For the moment I've left {{advert}} in place since there are really no objective criteria as to whether that has been addressed. Assuming you agree that the article no longer reads like an advertisement, I would ask that you remove that tag. If you disagree, I'd appreciate some specifics. As for notability, I suppose it could be contested, but a published author who has held several prominent positions and has been described by the office of the V.P of the United States as "a globally recognized expert on nuclear security and nonproliferation," it is certainly not so obviously non-notable for a PROD to be in order. If you want to have it deleted, please initiate a deletion discussion, because I'd like to have the chance to defend the article. Thanks.
All that said, the article had, indeed, become a piece of crap over time. I believe I've now fixed it adequately. - Jmabel | Talk 01:07, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Why so passionate? All we are both trying to do is reach an NPOV. That needs thoughtful discussion to continue until we have reached a resolution. Wikipedia must move on even if you choose to stop answering questions for six months. Oncenawhile (talk) 21:50, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi PS. I see your topic ban is due to run out in a couple of weeks. If I was you, in the meantime I would refrain from any edits and talk page discussion of anything related to the Arab-Israeli conflict per the conditions of your ban. Dlv999 (talk) 07:04, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi plot spoiler, I see you ignored my polite and friendly warning and continue to edit articles related to the Arab-Israeli conflict and clearly marked on their talk pages as being subject to ARBPIA, in contravention of your topic ban. [3][4][5] Dlv999 (talk) 17:35, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- Editing the pogrom article on that material was a mistake on my part. The latter two edits I don't believe violate the topic ban as I understand it (please tell me if I'm wrong). The USS Liberty incident was an incident between the U.S. and Israel. I reverted some pretty obvious vandalism. On the Falk page, I was just adding a wikilink. Thanks for your concern and checking my contributions so I keep out of trouble. Plot Spoiler (talk) 17:48, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- I've self-rv'd those two edits. Thanks for watching out for me. Plot Spoiler (talk) 18:05, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lebanon bombings and assassinations (2004–present) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Syrian Civil War general sanctions
As a result of a community discussion, long-term and persistent problems in the editing of articles related to the Syrian Civil War, broadly construed, have been acknowledged. The community has therefore enacted broad editing restrictions, described at Talk:Syrian Civil War/General sanctions and below.
- Any uninvolved administrator may, at his or her own discretion, impose sanctions on any editor working in the area of conflict if, despite being warned, that editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process.
- The sanctions imposed may include blocks of up to one year in length, bans from editing any page or set of pages within the area of conflict, bans on any editing related to the topic or its closely related topics, restrictions on reverts or other specified behaviors; or any other measures which the imposing administrator believes are reasonably necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of the project.
- Prior to any sanctions being imposed, the editor shall be given a warning with a link to this decision and, where appropriate, should be counseled on specific steps that he or she can take to improve his or her editing in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.
- Sanctions imposed may be appealed to the imposing administrator or at the appropriate administrators' noticeboard.
These editing restrictions may be applied to any editor for cause, provided the editor has been previously informed of the decision. This message is to so inform you. This message does not necessarily mean that your current editing has been deemed a problem; this is a template message crafted to make it easier to notify any user who has edited the topic of the existence of these sanctions.
Generally, the next step, if an administrator feels your conduct on pages in this topic area is disruptive, would be a warning, to be followed by the imposition of sanctions (although in cases of serious disruption, the warning may be omitted). Hopefully no such action will be necessary.
This notice is effective only if given by an uninvolved administrator and logged at Talk:Syrian civil war/General sanctions#Log of notifications. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 09:16, 8 January 2014 (UTC)

Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim countries
Could you please read the talk page, read the article, and then perhaps self revert?
Oncenawhile (talk) 19:11, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- You have just done exactly the same thing again. Do you even know why you reverted? Reverting without cause is akin to vandalism, and is highly disruptive.
- If I notice you doing this one last time I will open a new AE, on the basis of the underlined:
- "After being warned, any editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process may be blocked up to one year, topic-banned, further revert-restricted, or otherwise restricted from editing."
- Oncenawhile (talk) 23:08, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.
This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help find a resolution. The thread is "Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim countries". Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you! EarwigBot operator / talk 23:57, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions notification
Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page before making any further edits to the pages in question. This notice is given by an uninvolved administrator and will be logged on the case decision, pursuant to the conditions of the Arbitration Committee's discretionary sanctions system.
Editing warring over a long period of time, such as you have at Jewish exodus from Arab and Muslim countries, will result in sanctions if it continues. Please discuss the issue on the talk page until there is a consensus version rather than revert each other. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 12:18, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

February 2014
Your recent editing history at Hashem Shabani shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:04, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Persian Gulf - your reverting of my edit
Hello, Plot; you have reverted my [[6]], citing that it "Does not qualify as "SIC" - body of water called by different names by different entities". I beg to differ : bodies of water - or any other geographical feature, for that matter - are not there to be called by whatever some entity or other may wish to refer to them as. Allow me to explain by way of an example : if I were to wake up one day, write a book on the subject of, say, the Timor Sea but decide to call it the "Australia Sea". If you, Plot, were then to make reference to my work in Wikipedia, would you not "[sic]" it? By your reasoning, I - as an entity - have decided to just call it something else. I know this may sound like a long-winded way of making a point, and I am sure you know what I mean ... I will not simply go back and re-revert to my version, but will wait for your response to this. Yours, Kamran the Great (talk) 21:52, 22 February 2014 (UTC)

The article Sohrab Ahmari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- I don't see any actual third party reference for notability. Zero. The only notable reference is a bad insult from Hooman Majd.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. R0stam (talk) 03:44, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
