Pereira da Silvas

Hi Postrock1. Unfortunatley there seems to be a misunderstanding. Rafael and Fábio played both in more than four games for Brazil U-17. I have no idea, what you wanna show me with the manutd.com link. I dont question that they have played for Brazil U-17 in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, both played four games during the course of the tournament, Fábio scored 3 goals, Rafael none. But this is only the World Cup, both also played for Brazil in the 2007 South American Under-17 Football Championship (as example the match report of the final round game versus Argentina [1]). They could have played up to nine matches in that tournament, but even if we add them, we still dont know if this are all appearances. I dont know any site where to get information about friendlies and minor tournaments for Brazil U-17. Thus I ask you, to remove the wrong data, 4 (3) and 4 (0) are definitely not correct.

best regards --Ureinwohner (talk) 18:16, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

The World Cup was the last tournament they've played for the U-17, so it isnt possible to say data correct till.. but I counted now the appearances and goals in the South American tournament. Overall, FIFA+CONMEBOL Fábio played 13 matches and scored 10 goals, Rafael got 12 matches and 1 goal. Perhaps u can add those stats with a footnote "only 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2007 South American Under-17 Football Championship"
Greetz --Ureinwohner (talk) 19:09, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Done I've corrected it as best I could, thanks for taking the trouble to explain that to me! Cheers, Postrock1 (talk) 00:23, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Radiohead

well, i wouldn't say the whole thing sounds like burial... but there's a definite influence there in feral, and maybe bloom. and there's flying lotus unquantized beat-y stuff all over the album. Kaini (talk) 23:51, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

haha I guess this is what happens when I listen to few tracks then make a judgment! but yeah feral has a massive burial vibe, it's good that they mix up their style up a bit. Postrock1 (talk) 00:00, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Broadway (band)

Hey Postrock1,

The refences to user submitted reviews you questioned have been removed, as has the material in the text. They have been replaced by refernced quotes from Forthesound.com, a professional reviewing site. Here is their job application section: http://forthesound.com/jobs. One quote from a user submitted source has been included, backing the albums positive reception by fans, but it is stated in the text that it is a user submited review. If that is a problem it can simply be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Badman123234 (talkcontribs) 18:04, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

welcome to the wonderful world of reverting, on average, one to two unsourced additions a day :P Kaini (talk) 02:05, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

I know right, I don't understand why these people do it. It's comparatively not so bad on the dubstep page but football players seem to come in for a LOT of vandalism. I'd understand players like Gary Neville getting their fair share of attention from agreeable gentlemen, but even players who I thought everyone respected, like Ryan Giggs, get targeted too. some people eh! Doomgaze (talk) 19:10, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
thanks for your continued and awesome attention to detail on the article; it's been a long time since we had some new blood seriously contributing to it, and it's given me some impetus to edit a bit more on it too! Kaini (talk) 23:51, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

Re: Broadway AfD keep decision

My reading of WP:NMUSIC is that those 2 would allow the band, or at least the album, to be kept . If there's a consensus that guest artists don't make an album -- & thereby a band -- notable, please point me to it. (Although I don't follow the logic that a non-notable band can have a notable album.) I'm not entirely happy with my decision -- as I wrote, I went out on a limb there -- but when in doubt, I'd rather keep in order to give everyone time to do more research. If you think I made a mistake, please take it to DR; I won't be offended. In answer to your last question, I was simply making a generalized plaint: that it'd be easier on us all if searches for reliable sources started with decent sources like the ones we both mentioned -- instead of after-the-fact Google searches, which inevitably leads to blogs & unreliable reviews by non-experts. (Then again, I've been upset for a long while that the ultimate source for notability on Seattle grunge & other Northwestern US music -- the late, great Rocket -- is now largely inaccessible, which forces people to either use inferior sources like Google searches or delete many otherwise notable bands & musicians.) -- llywrch (talk) 20:20, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

Prods

Grin and bear it. This kind of thing happens all the time. I think it's actually slowed a bit, though maybe it's happening in places where it doesn't hit my watchlist as much. But every so often someone decides to "clean out the Augean Stables" in music and starts nominating dozens of band articles for deletion an hour. That's the cost of doing business on a website where anyone can edit. Chubbles (talk) 17:48, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Ah well, maybe these people will learn eventually. Btw nice one on the millions of articles you've created! How did you find out how many times it had been deleted before? doomgaze (talk) 18:10, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Some of those counts might be inaccurate (I'm too lazy to check and fix them), but they're from looking at deletion records of pages I created, and also deletions of alternate spellings/capitalizations (so, say, an article on Merry Wives of Windsor (band) might also get created and deleted at Merry Wives Of Windsor (band) or Merry wives of windsor (band)). Chubbles (talk) 18:17, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

Confoozled

Why are you suggesting that The Writer (song) be merged to marsupial? Reductio ad absurdum? --NellieBly (talk) 19:30, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

Haha well I reckoned it was as sensible an argument as the one in favour of deletion! I think if everyone was as strict as the nominator we'd only be left with about 10% of the articles we have now. doomgaze (talk) 21:27, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Funny! --NellieBly (talk) 21:30, 10 April 2011 (UTC)

You're quite right that Amos hasn't played in the Premier League, that was my mistake. But he has played in the Champions League, which I think would confer Mid-level importance. – PeeJay 20:37, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Short references

(Re. helpdesk question) Another page that might help explain is, User:Chzz/help/harvard. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  08:27, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Cheers, that's quite useful. Would you happen to know a good way of doing something like that, but for audio sources? The references field starts to look a bit messy if I use {{cite audio}} and use the same source multiple times with different |time= values, and none of the short-form methods I've looked at seem to have a time field. doomgaze (talk) 20:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
You could a) use 'loc' for location in the harvnb, and b) put "ref = CITEREFwhatever title you want" in the cite audio. That title must be exactly the same you use in the {{harvnb}}. For example,
Example.<ref>{{harvnb|Episode 1 | loc=01:24 }}</ref>

== Audio references ==

{{cite audio| people=Smith, Jones | date=2011-05-03 | url=http://www.example.com | title=Something | ref=CITEREFEpisode 1 }}

rules

Hi,

Ive received a message about putting external links, im just a bit unclear about the rules. I thought that you could put external links as long as they are completely relevant to the subject. In the example of the Rusko free download, i had found an official free download from Rusko that was not yet on Wikipedia, so i added it with a direct link to be able to download and listen to it. As far as i understand this is allowed, so i just wanted to ask if you could clear it up for me as any links ive put up have been completely relevant

thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Consept1 (talkcontribs) 11:51, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey there. While your links were relevant, a key Wikipedia policy can be found at WP:NOTPROMOTION. Looking at your contribution history your only edits have been to add links to these mixtapes onto various articles, which makes it look like you have a conflict of interest and are spamming. You can read the general policy on external links by clicking here. If you feel that I am mistaken and you would like to ask another editor about our link guidelines, a good place might be the new contributors' help page. Also remember to sign your name by typing four tildes at the end of your message (like ~~~~~) Cheers, doomgaze (talk) 12:11, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Thank you!

Hi there DOOMGAZE, VASCO from Portugal here,

no i did not say you piped (or not) anything, i merely referred to my last edit, before the vandals started their rubbish. There, i unpiped club names in storyline (i am a firm believer of compression ONLY for boxes, not for intro or storyline). but somehow your intervention restored some of the last versions.

Also, i am known for rather exaggerated summaries (have already been blocked once for crossing the line when referring to vandals), in your case i believe i was not offensive in anyway, merely hysterical :(

Anyways, sorry for any incovenience, keep up the fight against the lowlife vandals (as will i, believe me!), have a good weekend - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:41, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

  • I also believe this should have "a go", just to see if it works :) Again, cheers - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 23:49, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Ravel Morrison

There's the stories I made up IN conJUNCTION with the Mirror and Guardian to vandalize the page.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean. doomgaze (talk) 00:49, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Edit: Never mind, sorry I mentioned something bad about a Manchester United player, forgot that's not allowed. Did you know Steven Gerrard/Carlos Tevez/Vincent Kompany/NOT Wayne Rooney cheated on their wives/drunkenly assaulted someone/threatened witnesses? 99.226.236.224 (talk) 00:51, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
OJ Simpson was not convicted of murder under blp guidelines so why is the charge even mentioned on his page? That should be removed... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.226.236.224 (talk) 00:55, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Hey this isn't about United players, if you look through the history I myself added info about Ravel Morrisons arrests to the article. But if you read our guidelines about biographies of living persons you can see that we have to be very careful about potentially defamatory information; the general consensus is that only convictions should be mentioned. OJ Simpsons page isnt my concern, if you have an issue with it I guess the talk page of the article is best. doomgaze (talk) 01:03, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
True, sorry about that. The consequences of such defamation can be unimogenable. 99.226.236.224 (talk) 01:07, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Hahahaha nice, I see what you did there. Wikipedia has got sued on numerous occasions which is why we have to be particularly strict on living people articles. A big thing is not giving undue weight to trivial matters, so stuff like parking convictions would generally not be mentioned. doomgaze (talk) 01:11, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
Ok thanks for clarifying, I'll keep that in mind the next time I read about trivial matters like gun possession and assault 99.226.236.224 (talk) 01:16, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm not saying these are trivial matters. But for the gun possession he was not convicted and he still hasn't been (yet) for the assault. If/when he is I'll be first to add it to the article. doomgaze (talk) 01:19, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Haha I knew someone would ask about this; for some reason it wouldn't let me add an edit summary. Category:Freedom of the press is the parent category of Category:Free speech case law, and as per WP:CAT we should only add articles to the most specific categories. doomgaze (talk) 17:22, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually looking at it again all the categories and sub-categories seem to be interrelated, feel free to re-add if you like. doomgaze (talk) 17:24, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Actually, I'm satisfied with your explanation and I am a firm believer in putting things in the most specific category; although I question the speech/press conflation; in the US Constitution, both are called out separately in the 1st Amendment, but this is an English case and I have no clue if they treat press and speech separately. :-) Carlossuarez46 (talk) 17:31, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm not that bothered about the categories as most people rarely read them anyway. The text is the most important thing.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 17:39, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Message added 14:11, 3 July 2011 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Thank you so much for such extensive feedback. I have corrected most of the minor errors and need to work soon on the major ones. I have replied to a few of your comments at the talk page. If you could go through them and make some more suggestions, that would be great! Hassan514 (talk) 14:26, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

No problem. I'll take a look at the page again hopefully tomorrow and see if there's anything I didn't spot first time around. doomgaze (talk) 22:11, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
Done some edits today. Hopefully this makes the article look a lot more encyclopaedic than it was. Hassan514 (talk) 09:12, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Just added a musical style and influences section to Ali's page. Could you please have a look at it? Much Appreciated! Hassan514 (talk) 15:23, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

I have no idea how you have the patience to do references. I've only done less than half of them in the cite format you suggested and it's taken me over an hour! I'm not sure when I'll even begin archiving! Hassan514 (talk) 13:16, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

Haha I have no clue either! I've somehow researched/referenced the vast majority of the List of post-rock bands, I thought about finishing it off then saw how much there was still to do....no thanks! They do take a while don't they, I just tend to copy+paste the same blank form and fill in the blanks, like this:

<ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |last= |first= |work= |publisher= |date= |archiveurl= |archivedate=}}</ref>

Thats what I use anyway and delete the fields that I don't need for each particular reference. Oh and don't bother archiving at the moment, the WebCite site has been playing up recently for me. I can access all the old references fine but all new ones I try to archive fail, quite annoying. Plus like I said archiving isn't even required at Featured Article level (I personally think it should be, but hey). Even if a page goes offline you can normally get a cached copy from the Wayback Machine, but the URLs from there are REALLY long and pages load pretty slow, but still better than nothing. doomgaze (talk) 13:37, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Haha I looked at the list and there's no way I'd be touching that! Yeap, that's what I am using, still taking a fair bit of time. I'll leave archiving till later then.

Also, I need your help. There's an anonymous editor who is listing artists Nadia Ali has been influenced by based on an interview. I've already used that source and while she says she likes listening to them, I don't think that implies she's influenced by them. He's posted that on the talk page and I have replied, but could you please have a look at it as well and give your opinion? Hassan514 (talk) 05:24, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

I wouldn't be too worried, this is after all "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit". From what I can see the user appears to be editing in good faith and taking the discussion to the talk page was a good idea; so long as you two can reach a consensus everything should be fine. This shouldn't be too difficult as I think in this case you are correct, and you made your point well. An extra pair of eyes on an article is always useful; apart from mine, the only recent edits on the TWDY page came from the bands drummer, who added some (admittedly very funny) valdalism here. doomgaze (talk) 09:03, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
True, I'm just too obsessive atm after spending so much time on the thing the past couple of weeks lol. Do you think it's ready for a peer review now? Haha, that is actually a hilarious edit! Hassan514 (talk) 12:22, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
Yeah go for it. Good luck! doomgaze (talk) 14:24, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks will do it soon. Decided to wait. A friend is getting me details on a BBC World interview of hers, which will go well with the section I want to add on her prominence in EDM. I spoke about it with you before and we talked about putting it in the part of her career where she started getting that recognition. Do you reckon I should add it there or make the last section Musical style, influences and legacy? (even if legacy is a bit premature at the moment) Hassan514 (talk) 13:36, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Hey there, I've just added a few lines on Nadia's legacy to her article given that I found enough information to have that there now. Could you please have a look at it and see if it looks ok? Thanks! Hassan514 (talk) 16:37, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Hey mate, thanks so much for all the edits you're doing on the article. I must admit I'm getting a bit crappy at picking up faults in it now because I've read it so many times that I'm blind to some glaring errors. I really appreciate your help in pointing me in the right direction too and so many other things! A month ago I most certainly didn't think that I could ever get the article on her good enough to be able it to nominate for a GA review. I'm just waiting on details for a couple of references and then I'm all set! Hassan514 (talk) 16:26, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

No probs man, I get the same thing when I write an essay: I think it's really good then re-read it a few weeks later and it's filled with errors! Good luck with GA by the way, it should definitely be achievable from it's current state. By the way I was on Beatport earlier and I saw that Ali's "Pressure" is in 4th place. Pretty good going! doomgaze (talk) 22:09, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey mate, finally got Nadia Ali to WP:GA. I really have you to thank for being the first person to help me out so much on it and then implanting the GA idea in my head. Thanks again! Hassan514 (talk) 03:43, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

Heya, I'm gonna bug you once again. As you know i'm trying to get Nadia's discography to FL, I need a bit of help. Could you please look at the lead and see if it flows properly. I have a feeling it doesn't but I just can't put my finger on what could be improved or phrased better. Any feedback would be great! Hassan514 (talk) 16:09, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

James Earley

Hello! Please restore the page James Earley, which you deleted. This page been created by manager of James Ealey. So all of information is true! BTW, there is the Russian version of that page and a lot of pages where is mentions the name of James Earley (MC Hammer, B_Angie_B, Chuck Nutt and others. All of that are Russian or English pages). Hope on your understanding. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alkozoitt (talkcontribs) 08:10, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

Sorry fot the late reply. I didn't delete the James Earley page: as I am not an administrator, I do not have that power. However, I did nominate it for deletion, see WP:AFD. You can also see the resulting discussion here; two other editors agreed with me, and the page was then deleted by User:TParis. There were a number of problems with the article: while also being excessively promotional (see WP:NOTPROMOTION) the article was also lacking in proper sourcing. Wikipedia only has articles about subjects that are notable, subjects that have significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject (see WP:GNG and WP:BIO for some relevant guidelines). Unless you can show that Mr Earley fulfils the criteria there the page will likely stay deleted. As for what the rules on the russian wikipedia are, I can cannot help you, as the various wikipedias have different policies; perhaps under their guidelines he is sufficiently notable. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any further questions. doomgaze (talk) 23:45, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Oh as since you appear to have a conflict of interest, I suggest you read WP:COI. I would also advise you not to write any further articles about subjects you are affiliated with as it would be difficult for you to maintain a neutral point of view. If you would like an article to be created you can request one at Wikipedia:Requested articles, or if you want to make changes to an existing article you should outline what alterations you want made and any relevent reliable sources that support your viewpoint on the articles talk page. Cheers, doomgaze (talk) 23:50, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Doomgaze, you're clearly more wiki knowledgeable than me. Been following all the edits on the LS article and would appreciate your recommendations on removing the COI tag. I am well and truly peed off !!!

What right do people have to go and delete factual information?

Just because you can't find what you call reliable information, does not mean that it has no validity! Do a search on google and you will find plenty. look in the dance sections anywhere! The song Come Alive alone has appeared on 7 different albums.

It has been up for a year...and now somebody decided it isn't valid anymore.

Shall I go around deleting pages then for things that are not of interest to me?

Are you now judge and jury?

It was deleted before the 7 days and didnt even give me a chance to state my case.....how very undemocratic!!!

I am disgusted, and it has put me right off ever using wiki again, or even correcting other pages which I do on ocassions! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Torro20092009 (talkcontribs) 07:46, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Template:cite news

That template doesn't say anything about avoiding things like "Times Online", "Mail Online" and "independent.co.uk". Basically, unless a web article specifically states that it was originally published in the print version of that source, as the Guardian usually does, I think we should specify the web arm of the organisation as the "work". – PeeJay 11:48, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

If you look at the examples, all of the articles that are online have the newspaper= field filled with the name of the paper, rather than the name of their website. I could ask at the help desk or something for clarification, but thats how I understand it. Cheers, doomgaze (talk) 12:00, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
I see what you mean, but don't you think it seems a bit counter-intuitive to say that an article was published in a newspaper when it wasn't? If it was published on the website but not in the newspaper, then to say that the work was, for example, "The Guardian" instead of "guardian.co.uk" would be a downright lie, IMO. – PeeJay 12:04, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
Hmm I see where you're coming from too. But isn't it the same situation as with using BBC Sport rather than http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport? To be honest I don't like the whole system, there's a lot of unnecessary duplication (The New York Times (The New York Times Company), ManUtd.com (Manchester United) and so on) that just makes the page load slower, takes up more space in the edit window and makes the refs section look cluttered to our readers. I think it would be better if we do away with the publisher= field altogether and just have Aston Villa, The Daily Telegraph or whatever as the work. doomgaze (talk) 19:03, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps, but sometimes the publisher of a reference is not so obvious. Maybe we should just remove the publisher when it's not clear who it is. Then again, we might have to check that over with the FAC guys, just to make sure it wouldn't threaten the FA status of the article. – PeeJay 19:41, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Stephen Fry / crime

Hello,

I noticed you reverted my edits at Stephen Fry. I think there's a deeper issue in the use of those two categories, and so I've brought it up at the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard. Just thought I'd let you know in case you had any input to make. Jeremy Wordsworth (talk) 12:08, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I think you did the right thing in bringing it up there, some greater clarity on this issue would be useful. I've got that page on my watchlist so I actually replied before I saw this message, but thanks for informing me all the same. Cheers, doomgaze (talk) 12:15, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

He says in the 1:44 minute about him having 2 children, but nothing about them being 2 girls, not to mention hes english is realy bad and that is not considered as a source.

Hi, you added a proposed deletion for his article. Would playing during a pre-season friendly count towards him being "notable"? If not, I guess there is nothing but delete the article. He's played for his country in the U17 Championship, if that means anything.

A Londoner as United fan. Now there's something ... new? =p

Mentis (talk) 14:46, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Haha shush! I started supporting united the year arsenal won the double: every kid in my class started supporting them and I deliberately wanted to be different! I watch every match on telly and i've seen them at Old Trafford a couple of times so better than most people I guess . Unfortunately not. according to WP:NFOOTY it's gotta be either a senior international or a pro league game. Good chance he's going to play at some point this season tho, so (assuming it does get deleted) you can ask the deleting admin to userfy the article for you, then as soon as he plays you can move it back to mainspace. Vandalism

Hey man, quick question how do you deal with an anonymous IP who consistently makes dubious changes? Have someone coming an adding the same information at Rapture (iiO song) and I've left them warnings (which might've been messed up) but not helpful. I'm getting the same dubios edits from a couple of IPs for a while now, not sure how to deal with it. Hassan514 (talk) 13:06, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Hey man, few different tactics really. You use Twinkle right? If there's some vandalism just stick a generic level one warning on their talk page, if they do it again move up to level two and so on. If after the final warning they still vandalise, you should report them to WP:AIV (you can do this through Twinkle) where they generally get blocked for some time. Of course if the vandalism is particularly serious you can skip levels, I sometimes go straight for a level 3. If the edits aren't deliberate vandalism, but say someone making good faith changes that are against consensus or something I'd drop them a short message on their talk page or start a discussion on the article talk or something. If you're getting a lot of vandalism on a page you can request for it to be semi-protected at WP:RPP (again, you can do this through Twinkle, much easier). Do any of these cover your situation? doomgaze (talk) 16:04, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
I had no idea about twinkle and just had a look right now. That is so handy!! I think I seem to have gone wrong and went straight with the final warning. However, these people have been really annoying me for a while. It's a set of similar IPs who post stuff on the "Rapture" article about the music video. Normally the same stuff that the video develops in a technological city, which can either be just a Tamil city in India, a city in India, Singapore and I think even Mumbai. There's no referencing to it or any consistency besides the fact that they like to do it for the music video and nothing else. The guy re-did it after I sent them the first warning and hasn't touched it again. So I might just wait and see when they start again.

Also, replied to your message on my page. Easier than putting a tb template in haha! Hassan514 (talk) 07:31, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Twinkle, I have to say, is amazing. It makes so many things so so much quicker, I very strongly recommend it! Also if you're dealing with vandalism i suggest you apply for the rollback permission (if you don't have it already). An admin has to approve you first but it's pretty easy to get, it lets you remove all sequential edits by a vandal in just one click, no edit summaries needed etc. Should save you a bit of time! Ah if it's always someone from a similar, but not the same, IP that probably means they have a dynamic IP address so it'll be difficult to contact them. Maybe put an invisible comment into the article explaining your reasons and link it to the talk page? p.s. twinkle lets you do a talkback with like two button presses! doomgaze (talk) 14:16, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm realising how good Twinkle is these days. Thanks for the invisible comment idea. I didn't know, that actually might be really helpful! Hassan514 (talk) 16:48, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
