I really enjoy your topic because we continuously see this type of propaganda in the media about Islam’s and it allows audiences to see the Islam culture the way the media does. I recently watched a film called “Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People”. I think you would get a lot of information about your topic from the documentary and will hopefully give you a new kind of insight. There is actually a specific point in the movie where they talk about “Islamaphobia”. I think it would be cool to see statistics on what we think about this topic. Is there a large amount of us who truly look down upon the Islam culture? Do you know if there is any statistics we can see about the audience? It would also be cool to see a paragraph that has ideas about how we can move forward and what we can do to change these views. Does anyone give us a reason to believe this can be changed? Something that is also interesting to look at is Ramadan and how Western countries look at it compared to what it means to Islam’s. There is a documentary and information on it if you wish to go into these comparisons. Will you talk about the “Mean World syndrome”? KzK100 (talk) 21:49, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Super interesting topic, and very pertinent to the US in our current state of affairs.

You should definitely put your opening sentence in it's own section so it can serve as the header for the rest of the article.
A sentence leading into the examples of scholars/journalists explaining the presence of islamaphobia would be good. Perhaps simply moving your second paragraph to be first would suffice.
Where is Humayun Ansari a professor?
The example of Hafi Khan is a little out of place because he's a friend, not a media expert. It doesn't seem as legitimate next to the other academics.
Between examples, a transition or two would make it a lot easier to read.
It would help to explain who "Benn and Jawad" and "Egorova and Tudor" are/why their statements are valid.
You might do well to use sections to break up the text. For instance, a section about scholarly descriptions of Islamophobia could be one. Another section could be Examples. :Your last section could be about those working against Islamophobia in the media. Jsmerf (talk) 18:38, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
