Warning[edit]

Stop icon

Hi, the edsum in this edit is a personal attack, WP:NPA. If you ever do it again I shall ask for you to be permanantly blocked from editing the project. This is your only warning. -Roxy, the dog. wooF 07:34, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you are now calling me a vandal and a liar. That isn’t very nice, in fact it is a personal attack yet again. Stoppit. Thanks. Roxy, the dog. wooF 15:34, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
My brother stop playing victim. I'm here to post facts. This is about the page I am editing, not you. Have you read the literature on Alfredo Bowman? The page looks like a smear campaign. Do you know anything about Maa of Fig Tree Bio? What is a "faux-afrocentric" view? The diet of the European is for the European and the diet of the African is for the African (Polar bear vs Black bear).[1]
Do you know or understand anything about the African Genome and what foods can be processed by the African Genome? Do your research and stop promoting misinformation. I'm aware that his life was controversial like many so-called "blacks" who had something to offer to oppose the common miseducation we've been fed for centuries. Do you know how many people he's actually helped or is the bias getting in your way? The page you keep reverting is a "personal attack." sankofa 16:09, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
I am not your brother. You are not posting facts, far from it. You have now been warned a second time (see thread below) for your behaviour at Alfredo Bowman. You should stop. Roxy, the dog. wooF 16:18, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I expected you to say, I know people just like you. The facts were cited. Your revision and the Alfredo Bowman page is a smear campaign. The cause of death is incorrect. The entire page contains misinformation. Stay off my talk page. WP:FIXBIAS sankofa 16:26, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia being a mainstream encyclopedia, when reporting about mainstream medicine and biology, genetic differences among homo sapiens (we all are) are considered minimal. Wikipedia also constantly fights against fringe scientific racism views and it attempts to fight systemic bias by encouraging diverse people and more women to edit. On the other hand, it also avoids the promotion of fringe ideas (WP:FRINGE) especially in relation to medical claims, where medically reliable sources are needed (WP:MEDRS). Using racism accusations to support the promotion or avoid legitimate criticism in an article is not a good idea. Wikipedia editors are also from many backgrounds and colors. The important is to work through collaborative processes and focus on sources and content, not the people who edit. If there is a valid reason to report someone who fails to follow policies or civility, then we have an administrator's noticeboard (WP:ANI). Of less gravity, are general noticeboards when seeking the attention of more editors is useful (i.e. WP:NPOVN, WP:BLPN, WP:FTN, WP:RSN). These are generally useful when the relevant article's talk page is not enough. I hope this helps, —PaleoNeonate – 21:55, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Adding an important point I forgot: WP:BRD and WP:FIXBIAS have good advice to avoid edit wars, unnecessary frictions and potential blocks. —PaleoNeonate – 22:01, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

July 2019[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Alfredo Bowman, you may be blocked from editing. bonadea contributions talk 16:13, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Alfredo Bowman page is a clear representation of defamation of character and misinformation. sankofa 17:02, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
The information is well-cited in reliable mainstream sources. Wikipedia does not represent fringe theories as facts. See this information. There are plenty of other websites that welcome that kind of writing, but Wikipedia is not one of them. --bonadea contributions talk 17:56, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, YG (rapper), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for September 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited YG (rapper), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Drake (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:31, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019[edit]

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Carmelo Anthony‎‎ appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 07:36, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ann Marie[edit]

Hello NEGUS1010,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ann Marie for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

ArbCom 2019 election voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello NEGUS1010. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Kevin Cohee, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:NEGUS1010. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=NEGUS1010|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Whpq (talk) 00:51, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The nature of your statements reveals jealousy and hatred. No compensation was received. How did you come to that conclusion? Is there a way to report you for lying/defamation/stalking?

Is it that you're a paid editor why you're making that accusation? I thought it would be dope to put the CEO of a black owned bank on wikipedia? Do you want something? fuck off my page. you saying a bunch of words to make you seem like you sayin sum. Ion give a fuck bout what you talmbout. sankofa (talk) 01:02, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fuck would I care about what impression the nature of my edits gave you? sankofa (talk) 01:18, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's because of your claim that the image use was authorized by the photographer and the bank. That's a rather unusual claim to make if one were not associated in some way with the subject or the bank. And also, Wikipedia:Civility is a Wikipedia policy. -- Whpq (talk) 01:23, 9 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
