  • An unblock request must come from a person affected by the block, which is either an individual IP(even if it's not fixed) or an account. If you wish to discuss the validity of a range block you aren't prevented from editing by, you should first approach the blocking admin, then if unsatisfied go to WP:AN. The block doesn't affect you. Unfortunately, it is often the case that public IP ranges are the source of extensive vandalism or disruption and must be blocked to protect Wikipedia. Usually(though not always) such blocks permit editing via accounts. If this nevertheless concerns you, please proceed as I stated above. 331dot (talk) 15:15, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
