To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
April 2022[edit]
Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Blessthefall, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:43, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- You cannot just write that the band tweeted something, assume what it meant and then claim that as fact. A reliable source has to support the claim. A lot can be read into this supposed tweet so simply listing it as a source is not even enough. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:45, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
February 2023[edit]
Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Kyrie Irving appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 23:57, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
The trade is official and he is making his debut wednesday vs. the clippers. It’s been reported by many major sports reported and is 100% official and i think my edit should stand. Kidsaturn667 (talk) 00:33, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Then include a reliable source that confirms the information. This is not the first time you have been asked to include sources; it's not optional.-- Ponyobons mots 00:37, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Adrian Wojnarowski a senior reporter for ESPN reported the trade. I don’t know how reliable you need it to be but he is VERY reliable. Kidsaturn667 (talk) 03:40, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- You need to actually state your sources within the article, not just mention that there are sources available.-- Ponyobons mots 18:31, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
