Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:K-Very requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your userpage[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. As you seem to be aware, your user page was tagged for deletion as misuse of Wikipedia as a webhost a few minutes ago. I have declined to delete it as you appear to be attempting to remedy the situation, but I wanted to give you some information about what Wikipedia userpages are intended for.

User pages (click the blue link to go to the gudieline about userpages) are intended for Wikipedia editors (such as yourself), to introduce themselves and tell the Wikipedia community a little bit about themselves in the context of their Wikipedia activities. So, for example, you claim to be a "Motorsport Expert". It could be that your goal here is to improve coverage of motorsports on Wikipedia. Telling people that "I consider myself a motorsport expert having been involved in motorsports for 19 years, and I noticed some significant gaps in Wikipedia's coverage of motorsports." Would be a valid use of your user page. However, "I have been involved in motorsports for 19 years, click here to visit my business" is not. A list of articles you want to work on or have worked on is fine. Also, if you want to focus on articles that relate to your professional activities, be aware of and understand our guidelines regarding conflicts of interest (editing in areas where you have a financial stake). Disclosing COIs as regards specific articles is also a good use of your userpage.

If you have any questions or need anything, feel free to ask at the help desk or the teahouse (the teahouse is designed to be a friendlier and more relaxed place for newbies to seek help). ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 16:11, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rallycross red-linking[edit]

Hey! I've noticed you've gone through and done extensive editing on most wikipedia pages related to the world rallycross championship. I've been mostly keeping those updated before so it's nice to see someone else also do it! However, I've also noticed you've gone through and red-linked almost all drivers and teams as well as events as if to create new pages for them. While it would be nice if all these pages were to be created, a large majority of rallycross drivers and teams do not meet notability guidelines as per WP:Notability_(sports)#Motorsports and therefore shouldn't realistically be marked for a new page. Having red links all over the pages imo just make it harder to see where actual links lead, and in general clutters up the page. If you do want to go through and create all these pages, can I advice that you create the page first, and then link to it? Spookysquid (talk) 18:46, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! OK. Thanks for advice. My first target is to actualize all events info. Then let's try to do some with drivers. I am just Motorsport commentator (World RX too) and explorer. And these war times give me only one recource - a lot of free time, so I try to do my best. Sorry, if something going wrong in this process K-Very (talk) 18:56, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, glad to see more info being added :) Spookysquid (talk) 09:14, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, K-Very. Thank you for your work on 2022 World RX of Benelux. User:EchidnaLives, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Hello. We'll be happy to leave 2022 World RX of Benelux in the mainspace for now, but if it goes ~6 hours without work, we may move it over to the Draftspace so it can be constructed there before coming back. Good luck with the article!
