If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 23:14, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We edited the article John Gray (American author) and replacing it with Erin Byron's information because we thought that it is a free template in order to create Wikipedia content and doesn't affect the original one. We are new to this and creating from is quite difficult. Rest assured that we will have it from scratch. Erin Byron (talk) 15:57, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

We are in the process of creating a wikipedia page for a noteable thought-leader and teacher in the field of yoga therapy. Ms. Byron has taught thousands of students over a decades-long career and continues to publish and present internationally. As a contribution to global knowledge, we wish to present Ms. Byron's autobiographical and professional facts so that those interested in her books and attending the conferences she keynotes are able to learn more about her and the yoga therapy community at large. We are doing our best to conform to community norms (appropriate summaries, links, facts, search terms, references, associations, etc.) by basing our efforts on similar personalities such as Brene Brown and BKS Iyengar. To our knowledge there is only legitimate content, no spam or advertising. We will be sure to edit for a neutral point of view. Ms. Byron recently encountered a hack on her website. Perhaps this is what flagged the block. All efforts are being made to remove the deleterious effects of that unfortunate event. We will review whether links were excessive or inappropriate and thus remove. We are thankful for constructive feedback. Thank you in advance for any guidance and for unblocking this page.Erin Byron (talk) 23:58, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But then why were you editing the article John Gray (American author) and replacing it with Erin Byron's information? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 00:29, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is not reasonable. Additionally, it raises a new concern. Accounts cannot be shared. Yamla (talk) 18:49, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

What are other options I am able to make in order unblocked the account? and able to create my own wikipedia page? Erin Byron (talk) 16:25, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The content of the encyclopedia is properly referred to as articles, not the broader term "pages". This account is named "Erin Byron"; if you are anyone other than Erin Byron, you need to tell us a new username to rename this account to. You, the person sitting at the computer/holding the device reading this, should be the only one with access to this account. You will also need to describe your connection to Erin Byron and tell us what edits you intend to make now that you know you will not be permitted to, in the short term, edit about Erin Byron. Wikipedia is not for posting a resume, CV, or other list of accomplishments- Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources say about topics deemed notable by Wikipedia. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 19:08, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please place new posts at the bottom for proper chronological flow. This may be easier to do if you refrain from using the Reply feature(which is imperfect for various reasons) and instead open the edit window directly by clicking "edit" at the top. 331dot (talk) 19:08, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am Erin Byron's assistant and given a task to create a content for her. As a first user, I committed a mistake which is part of your rule- my apologies for that. Since you mentioned that Erin should be the one will created of her content, I wished to change the username instead. I like to use "jeanette bermudo" since I am the one who created Erin's content. As promised, this will be noted and lesson for me to read first the rule and always check if the Wikipedia content is free for edit Erin Byron (talk) 11:37 am, 16 January 2024, Tuesday (10 days ago) (UTC−5)

Hello Erin Byron. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Erin Byron. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Erin Byron|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:00, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You cannot use her name as your user name if you are not her. Please let me know what new user name you would like.
Assuming we agree to unblock you, any new article creation would need to be vetted via the WP:AFC process.
Please read and heed WP:PAID.
If you are not allowed to write about Erin Byron, you will need to describe what constructive edits you would make.
I will leave this request for now for someone else to review, depending on your response. Thanks -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:13, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
