Username policy[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Gowher Naz", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy. You have stated that you have "no close connection" to the person named "Gowhar Naz", about whom you have written. That being so, your username is likely to mislead editors as to who you are. Such misleading usernames are not acceptable. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Otherwise, do not continue to edit using this username, but you may ask for a change of username by completing this form. • I am also intrigued to know how you came to be the copyright owner of a personal photograph, previously published on Facebook, of a person with whom you have no close personal connection. Can you clarify that? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:30, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • And how did it come about that a photograph that you own the copyright of has been used, in cut-down form, on a web site he contributes to, considering that you have no close connection to him? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 11:45, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comments[edit]

When you add new comments to a discussion, such as you did twice now at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gowhar Naz, please add them to the bottom instead of the top. I have fixed this twice on the AFD. Also you don't need to keep adding that you don't think the article should be deleted we understand your stance on the article. -- GB fan 20:45, 17 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have continued to edit with this username, despite the message I posted above, explaining that you should not do so as the name conflicts with Wikipedia's username policy. I invited you to explain if you thought that the name did not conflict with that policy, but you have not done so. Consequently, to prevent further violation of the policy, you have been blocked from editing. If you are willing to request a change of username, you may request an unblock by adding the text {{unblock-un|your new username here}}, replacing the words "your new username here" with a new suername you are willing to change to. If there are no problems with the username, and no other reasons for you to remain blocked, an administrator should then unblock you to enable you to apply for a change of username, and apart from making that request, you should not do any more editing from this account until the username has been changed. Notice

The file File:Gowhar Naz.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused personal photo. Out of scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:25, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
