    License tagging for File:DAIS-Members.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DAIS-Members.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:05, 23 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bijan Davari has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. File permission problem with File:BijanDavari.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:BijanDavari.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

    • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
    • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

    Notice

The article IEEE Communications Society has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

    Non-notable sub-group of notable organisation

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Fayenatic London 13:49, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

    File:DAIS-Members.jpg listed for discussion[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:DAIS-Members.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. Dylsss(talk contribs) 23:33, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    User pages[edit]

Please note that pages in your own sandbox, such as User:Dverma/sandbox, are not permitted to be filed in articlespace categories as if they were already finished articles — categories may be added to the page only if and when it's in mainspace, and not while it's in your userspace. As I've already had to remove categories from the page three times within the past three hours alone, please note that there isn't going to be a fourth time: if I have to remove it from any categories again, I'm going to have to lock the page to prevent you from being able to edit it at all anymore. Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

    Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Mtwpact per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mtwpact. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 08:43, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
