Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 07:44, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Request reason:

Because if we can't make changes to the Cartoon Network water park pages we will get sued by Warner Brothers. We are an agency working for Sony Pictures Entertainment and Amazone Falls. We have been tasked with removing Cartoon Network Related mentions from the internet as Amazone Falls and Warner Brothers do not longer expedite the park as Cartoon Network Amazone. Since the new partnership with Sony we need to remove all these CNA mentions or we will get in legal trouble. I understand we got blocked and I am happy to adjust any content on the page to ensure we adhere to the Wikipedia rules as long as we can avoid any CartooN Network Amazone related content. As GMB also pulls in content from wikipedia to the GMB panel. I do not wish to make any contributions other than the ones needed to avoid legal issues between our employers and their previous partners. Please let me know how to best address this as we can end up in real trouble.

Decline reason:

Wow. No, so much no. See WP:USERNAME, WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. You absolutely should not have taken on a contract which would lead to you violating Wikipedia's terms of use and our core policies. That was stupid. Yamla (talk) 09:51, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Yamla Thank you for your reply. We're actually not looking for a user name in relation to Aquaverse to make changes on Wikipedia or make future changes in name of Aquaverse on Wikipedia overall. However, as Cartoon Network Amazone is no longer an existing waterpark in Thailand there is outdated information on Wikipedia, we would like to see that updated to be correct. Can you please provide me with a suggestion on how we can move forward in ensuring the information regaring the waterpark is correct and up to date in a timely manner without us adjusting it?

Decline reason:

No unblock, not with this account or with your other account. You certainly can't "adjust" the article by cutting and pasting press releases from sonypictures dot com. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 13:38, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

User:Jpgordon Understood, my apologies. May I then please draw your attention that the current state of the page includes incorrect information. I would kindly request an unblock and username change to: Michaelhellooo. I work for an agency that is requested by Columbia Pictures Aquaverse to ensure the information on the page is correct and doesn't result in copyright and legal issues (Warner Brothers vs Sony Entertainment). I promise that I will not make any changes to the article but will only point out the incorrect information on the talk page as to assure that more experienced and better suited Wikipedia users/moderators might be able to help update the page to reflect correct information.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:17, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

We aren't concerned with what you have been tasked with doing by your employer. You are free to post up to the minute current information on your own website and you are also free to discourage the public from reading about your organization on Wikipedia(which will probably have the opposite effect but you can do it). Wikipedia is not meant as a source of current information, it's goal is to provide a historical overview summarizing what independent reliable sources state. The text you added was extremely promotional in nature, not just correcting errors. If your only goal here is to edit about your employer in the short term, it's doubtful you will be unblocked. If you want to edit about other topics, please follow the instructions in the block notice. Someone else will review your appeal. 331dot (talk) 10:44, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

331dot Thank you for your reply. Yes, correct it was purely based on the currently available information from the press release. We apologiase and repent and want to let more expeirenced Wikipedia members create a page for this park to avoid any further issues from our end. There are some issues though, such as: "Columbia Pictures Aquaverse[1] (Thai: สวนน้ำการ์ตูนเน็ทเวิร์ค อเมโซน) is a Cartoon Network themed waterpark" is completely incorrect. Columbia Pictures is not Cartoon Network themed, Cartoon Network Amazone was. Additionally, "สวนน้ำการ์ตูนเน็ทเวิร์ค อเมโซน" literally translates into: Cartoon Network Amazone Warerpark. Not into "columbia pictures aquaverse. The logo on the page is Cartoon Network Amazone, not Columbia Pictures Aquaverse. There are some other issues on the page as well. If we could just remove the "columbia pictures aquaverse" mentions and revert to a stage where it is describing what it was as you mention: "Wikipedia is not meant as a source of current information" then that would be something we believe both Wikipedia users are helped with and us as well. I am happy to help with what ever way I can to ensure Wikipedia.
