Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Douglas AC-47 Spooky, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. List of weapons of the Philippine Commonwealth Army

[edit]

Its strange that you created a page with citation needed flags from 2014. It looks like a recreation of a page "List of equipment of the Philippine Commonwealth Army" that was deleted due to being filled with errors (or possible pranks). Did you find the text somewhere else on the internet? GraemeLeggett (talk) 08:50, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a list of equipment that was in use by the Philippine Commonwealth Army. The Philippine Commonwealth Army was the main branch and ground force of Armed Forces of the Philippines from 1936 into World War II. It then came under the United States Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) and following the Japanese occupation survived as part of United States Army Forces in the Philippines - Northern Luzon (USAFIP-NL).

The equipment was provided by the Government of the Philippine Commonwealth from 1935 to 1946 in order to be used in protecting the freedom and sovereignty of the Commonwealth of the Philippines against any hostilities

Warning

[edit]

I have just deleted the List of weapons of the Philippine Commonwealth Army article you re-created, as it was full of hoax material. I note that a lot of your other edits involve adding unreferenced and at times dubious claims about obscure military forces operating different types of equipment. You will be blocked if this continues. Nick-D (talk) 07:50, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this legit source?

I've just checked some of your recent edits, which are not supported by references:

  • [1] While World Air Forces 2020 is now behind a paywall, the 2021 edition isn't. It doesn't show Bolivia operating this aircraft type, and it's highly unusual for air forces to only acquire single examples of aircraft. The addition of historical aircraft is unreferenced despite the warning above.
  • [2] Ditto
  • [3] The reference doesn't support any of these claims

As you have been making large numbers of similar edits, I'm assuming that they are all fraudulent. Nick-D (talk) 00:55, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry for the inconvenience but I know I was blocked due to vandalism but I know I am not committing vandalism because I have a source to show https://military.wikia.org/wiki/Main_Page and this https://www.militaryfactory.com/ but my problem is I do not know how to put a reference in my edits so that's why I don't put a reference on my edit's and I'll make sure not to make this mistake again because I am just a beginner and I do not know the laws yet.

Decline reason:

Firstly, it is alleged that you added content not contained in the sources. You haven't really commented on this. Secondly, you need to read Wikipedia:Citing sources. PhilKnight (talk) 12:36, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
