Mike Pearl was born in Fontana, California on October first, 1984. He was raised in Riverside, CA, and nearby Moreno Valley where he attended Canyon Springs High School and Riverside Community College. He graduated from Chapman University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Screenwriting. Recently he and Nate P. Miller directed a music video for the Orange County band Cavil at Rest, which played on MTV2s Subterranean.

He currently lives in Gwangju, South Korea where he teaches English.
