Operation Randori Behak[edit]

The operation was carried out in Jammu and Kashmir by six commandos of the 4 PARA (SF). On the other side, there were five militants. Five of all the commandos were martyred in action leading a successful operation that killed all of the militants. The operation involved close combat. The brave soldiers' names are as follows:–

2019 Balakot Airstrike[edit]

The Vayu Sena Medal has been awarded to five Indian Air Force Mirage-2000 fighter pilots who dropped bombs on the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Pakistan. The fighter planes destroyed the JeM camp in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province after entering Pakistani airspace for the first time in 48 years in response to a suicide bombing claimed by the terror group. Name of the pilots is as follows:-
