These are whales and dolphins I've seen in on whale-watching cruises. I note the dates in order to show (in the future) the frequencies.

    • Fin Whale, Balaenoptera physalus
      • 8/20/05 (2-3 individuals, fins, no tails)
    • Northern Minke Whale, Balaenoptera acutorostrata
      • 8/20/05 (1 individual, far away, fin)
      • 5/09/11 (1 or two individuals, spouts, humps, and fins)
    • Humpback Whale, Megaptera novaeangliae
      • 8/20/05 (3-4 individuals, humps, tails, open mouths, very close to the boat)
      • 7/29/09 (2 individuals, humps, swimming in front of the SBX-1)
  • Family Eschrichtiidae
    • Grey whale, Eschrichtius robustus
      • 2/25/18 (2 individuals engaged in unihemispheric sleep while swimming)
