Physical blogging is the merging of physical and online social interactions within an artistic framework. The concept of physical blogging was developed and implemented through the blog loveletterstostrangers.com in 2011. The pilot project involves writing hardcopy letters and distributing them to strangers using guerrilla marketing tactics. The delivery process is documented by photographs and posted online. The content of the letters is unknown to the online audience, creating a unique connection between the writers and the recipients of each letter. Each physical blog encourages further conversation by inviting the recipient to join the conversation online.
