I have become "Director of Research" for the Whiston Heritage Society (Whiston being a village on the south edge of Rotherham, South Yorkshire). I hope and expect to create and/or contribute to local history articles and the like.

My other main interests are in local politics and I am a folk musician running a folk club at the Dragon's Tap pub. So, from time to time, I may stray into those areas also.
