Starz University is a private institution of higher learning located in Monrovia in the West African nation of Liberia. Located on Cheeseman Ave, Monrovia, Liberia, the school had 6,118 students as of 2020. Starz University is accredited to award both bachelor's and master's degrees by the National Commission on Higher Education of the Liberian Government.
History[edit]
Founded in the U.S.A. in 2007 and integrated in Monrovia, Liberia in July 2009, Starz University aims to resolve Liberia's IT and capability needs. Starz University is Accredited and Chartered by the Higher Education Commission in Liberia. Quality Technology, Business, and Leadership education is offered by Starz University.
As an accredited Microsoft Academy, Cisco, and IBM affiliate, the institution provides colleges, Hight school, companies, and a wide range of clients across Liberia with numerous IT services and solutions. Starz is a tertiary institution accredited by the Higher Education Commission in the Republic of Liberia and provides Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in various fields.
Academics[edit]
Academic programs at Starz include two colleges: College of Science and Technology and College of Business.[1] Starz has partnerships with US-based colleges and some top world IT Organization like Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Adobe, Chevron, Dell, and Prometric Test Center to offer certification to IT professionals in Liberia.
Corporate Education[edit]
The University also affords one-of-a-kind and custom-made training programs for NGOs, Governmental Agencies, Private companies/institutions, and people as per request the use of a curriculum tailored-made to the education desires of the beneficiary's convenience.
