Easysnap is a unit technology for opening packs that works by folding the pack in half with just one hand. The main application of this technology is unit dose (single use) packaging for liquid products[1].

The main Easysnap's patent were registered in 2006, in Italy:
Easysnap Technology was founded in 2008 and in the following years the patents were extended in terms of territories and applications[9].
In october 2015 the global company Arcade Beauty purchased 30% of Easysnap Technology’s outstanding shares[10].
Since July 2017 the CEO and owner of the company is Andrea Taglini.
Characteristics[edit]
The main patent consists in the joining (sealing) of two plastics film and in a longitudinal and centered notch on only one of them. The notch is mechanically made on the internal and external side of the bottom film. The notch progressively breaks when the pack is folded thus allowing the product to flow out[11].
Easysnap is used in products manufactured by brand owners in food, cosmetics, pharma, or chemical markets, as Gojo/Purell, Rowse Honey[12], Ajanta Pharma and Clarins, among others[13][14][15].
Easysnap is manufactured by automatic machinery designed and developed by Easysnap Technology. The last released Easysnap Technology machine is called Pulsar 351[16].
