Stefanie Scott[edit]

born December 6, 1996 is an American child actress, singer, model, and dancer. Her breakthrough role in theatre was in a 2005 production of “Annie,” and she is known for her voiceover work in television in Disney’s animated series Special Agent Oso, along side Sean Astin. She has appeared in commercials, theater performances, print modeling, and as voice talent in television. She is also known for her live vocal performances while touring the country as Miss American Sweetheart 2007 and Miss Florida Sweetheart 2006. [4] [5]


Biography[edit]

Stefanie is the daughter of Dr. Paul Scott, D.D.S., M.S. and Diane Scott, an entrepreneur responsible for inventing Aroma Dough®[1] and the Boo-Boo Wrap™. She has two older brothers: Troy, a nationally ranked junior golfer and Trent, a state champion soccer player.

Stefanie was born in Chicago, Illinois. She and her family spend most of the year in Los Angeles, but live part of the time in Melbourne, Florida with their two dogs and cat.


Personal Life[edit]

Stefanie is interested in most things associated with creativity and performance. In addition to her singing and acting talents, she is an avid writer. As of 2007, she is working on a screenplay that she hopes will someday make the big screen. She also writes her own original pop songs for future production.

Stefanie has also spent valuable time promoting various charitable organizations. American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Give the Kids the World, and Queens for a Cure are the most prominent recipients.



Professional Appearances

Stage appearances

Stefanie made her stage debut in a Florida production of Annie at the age of eight. She played the role of Tessie and served as the understudy for the starring role.

Her most notable stage appearances include those of live musical theatre. In addition to her debut, she has performed in Annie Warbucks at the Surfside Theatre, and in a New York production of Cinderella. Most recently, she appeared in the role of Marta for the Orlando Starlight Dinner Theatre’s six-week production of the Sound of Music.

Her original role as Annie has made a common reappearance in Stefanie’s professional portfolio, as she was listed among the top five finalists for the Annie National 2007-2008 Tour.

Television
Providing the voices of Brianna and Emma in the Disney animated series, Special Agent Oso, Stefanie’s voice talent appears alongside that of actor Sean Astin. She can be heard in the episodes “Goldfeather” and “Live and Let Ride.”

Stefanie’s earliest television productions include marketing advertisements for a number of companies. Her most recent appearance was for a Hasbro commercial for My Little Ponyville, although she has also appeared in commercials for the Papa John’s Pizza chain, Disney’s Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, Fuji Film, the Discovery Channel, and the Nickelodeon Hotel.

Musical Performances

Stefanie enjoys doing a mix of live and recorded musical performances. She has been a featured performer at the Miami Hilton, the Imperial Hotel and Conference Center, the Marriott in Disney World, and the Los Angeles Hilton.

Her voice recordings include “Gimme Gimme,” from Thoroughly Modern Millie; “New York City,” from Annie; “Reflection,” from Disney’s Mulan, “A Change in Me,” from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast; and “Bubbly.”

Under the representation of Coast to Coast Talent, Stefanie’s current theatrical and musical projects include recording an original CD single. She is represented by Precision (Berneman) Management in Los Angeles and Mosaic Talent Development in Orlando, and retains voice and acting and dance coaches to further her success in the entertainment industry.[2]


Stefanie is fully trained in the Hip Hop, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Freestyle varieties of dance, with over nine years of experience. Although she has used her dancing abilities in her stage productions, she also participates in dance championships and won the national jazz division in both 2006 and2007.


Print Modeling

Stefanie’s print appearances include National American Pageants, Inc., Dance Mania, Inc., Nickelodeon Hotel, and Supermodel Magazine. Her feature in Supermodel Magazine involved a full-page article for the Fall 2007 edition[3].



Awards

Stefanie was named Miss Florida Sweetheart in 2006, going on to win nationally at Miss American Sweetheart contest in 2007. She spent most of 2007 traveling throughout the United States representing her country at live performances and appearances.

She won the 2006 and 2007 COA title of national jazz dance champion.

In February of 2006, at 10 years old, Stefanie tied for first place in a national co-ed talent competition. Her vocal talents were recognized alongside those of trained opera singers twice her age.
