From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here are some of the pages that were previously my Focus at the Moment on my userpage.

  1. Air Traffic (13:51, 8 June 2007 (UTC) → 14:28, 19 June 2007 (UTC)) - Extremely short article in need of expansion.
Outcome: Significant differences after my involvement.
  2. The Dykeenies (14:28, 19 June 2007 (UTC) → 16:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)) - Someone decided to prod it, and make the slightest suggestion that this band was non-notable. I'm in the process of beefing it up so this can't happen again.
Outcome: It was established that the article was notable, and was kept.
  3. Air Traffic (16:11, 4 July 2007 → 4:00, 10 July 2007 (UTC)) - Back on this one for a second time, currently in the progress of adding information on their singles and EP.
Outcome: Creation of "Just Abuse Me", as well as numerous images led to a general improvement of the article.
  4. El Presidente (4:00, 10 July 2007 (UTC) → 7:32, 21 July 2007 (UTC)) - To be honest, everything written about them and all the related pages are a mess. The stupid thing is, its tiny tiny little edits that need to be made to get the page all correct. Stupid pages like "Rocket re-issue" or something like that, I mean what's wrong with the original "Rocket" page?? Can this not just be added to? I am going to swiftly deal with all these mistakes, i feel real sorry for whoever is responsible for these articles in the first place.
Outcome: Abandoned due to lack of interest and urgent work required elsewhere.
  5. The View (7:32, 21 July 2007 (UTC) → 6:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC)) - A number of images have incorrect tags which have to be dealt with, and quickly. The original editor seems to have disappeared...
Outcome: Turned into a full copyedit and rework of entire article, significant expansion of since rework began.
  6. Wikipedia:WikiProject TUGS and associated articles (6:32, 16 August 2007 (UTC) → 15:00, 10 December 2008 (UTC)) - Has a lot of work that needs to be done to remove trivia and clean up articles. This was the first time an article outside of music has been my main focus.
Outcome: Have become semi-officially in charge of this WikiProject now, and am co-ordinating with other users to complete tasks continuously. The most significant of this work was done between the above dates. During this time, I also took a ten-month break from Wikipedia, during which editing was sporadic.
  7. White Lies (15:00, 10 December 2008 (UTC) → 3:11, 14 December 2008 (UTC)) - All my Wikipedia efforts were focused on this article, to act upon the points noted following its Good Article review.
Outcome: Points resolved in four days, listed as Good Article
  8. The Dykeenies (3:11, 14 December 2008 (UTC) → 4:31, 7 January 2009 (UTC)) - Working on article prior to Good Article nomination review.
Outcome: Have copy-edited the article numerous times and included further citations. Article still awaiting GAN review, and will focus more when review takes place.
  9. Various WikiGnomeing (4:31, 7 January 2009 (UTC) → 3:45, 8 January 2009 (UTC)) - Still awaiting results of GANs and resent DYK? noms, nothing really specifically to focus on except maintaining standards.
Result: Worked on repairing links to redirect pages for Klaxons and Jason & the Scorchers, as well as creating a couple of pages. Only lasted a short while because I was filling space.
  10. The Dykeenies (3:45, 8 January 2009 (UTC) → 1:21, 12 January 2009 (UTC)) - Acting on points raised in the band's Good Article review.
Outcome: Points resolved in four days, listed as Good Article
  11. T in the Park, possible similar festivals and featuring bands. (19:14, 28 March 2009 (UTC) → 00:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)) - Page needs broken up into separate festivals, probably a bit long. Glasto, Reading are similar.
Outcome: Have formatted T in the Park line-ups to current dates, and will continue to do so.
