This is what you may expect from me, a friend[edit]

If you are a friend of mine, in real life or on the Internet, I will stand by you. I may not always agree with you, but I will not betray you or stab you in the back. I will listen to you when you are joking, complaining, suggesting something, confiding in me, or anything else. If you are my friend you will always have me to lean on and my shoulder to cry on, and I will not refuse either part of my "body", no matter what. If I ever fall short of this, I will apologise to you. You may forgive me if you want to, but I cannot and do not wish to make you do so. As long as you are my friend, to quote Goethe, I will consider you my brother or sister. I will treat you the same as I treat my biological brothers and sisters, no less.
