Sintech Precision Products Ltd. popularly known as Sintech Pumps[1], is an Indian Pump manufacturer and supplier of pumps, pump spare parts and related services systems, headquartered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. The Sintech Group manufactures pumps used in a wide variety of applications in various countries. The company has two manufacturing units. The unit-I occupies 10,000 Sq. Yards and Unit-II occupies 3,000 Sq. Yards. The first unit employs 143 staff members and the second unit has 18 staff members.

History[edit]

Sintech Pumps was incorporated in 1986 by technocrat, Mr. Nanak Chand Dhingra[2].

  • 1977: Max Corporation was founded by Mr. Nanak Chand Dhingra on January 1, 1977 with capital of Rs 7000 as a partnership firm.
  • 1978: Magma and Molasses pumps were introduced, and first pump was supplied to Siswa Bazar.
  • 1980: First Indian company to do research on pumping of various sugar process and their problems. Later, torque flow pump was introduced in Sugar industry. Earlier screens were used to remove bagasse from the process.
  • 1985: Concept of energy saving was introduced in Sugar Industry. Free consultation provided. Later as the demand grows for specialized pumps another factory at B15 BS road was installed.
  • 1986: Sintech was incorporated.
  • 1990: Vertical Mixed Flow Pump was introduced in Sugar Industry. Proven power saving of 30-40% in the injection and spray system made it an industry benchmark. First pump was installed at Dhampur, Uttar Pradesh.
  • 1991: Hi-Chrome pump for milk of lime application was introduced with 10 Years warranty. It is first of a kind in the Industry.
  • 2006: Introduced boiler feed pumps with first order from Pratappur Sugar Mill (BHL),Uttar Pradesh, India. Specially designed split casing pump double suction were introduced with low NPSH. Also, development started on axial-flow pumps and vertical turbine pumps with a vision of entering non-sugar markets.
  • 2007: First order from Desalination plant based in Saudi Arabia.
  • 2012: Order for Africa’s biggest sugar complex, White Nile Sugar Company, Sudan
  • 2014: First order from United States of America. Along with orders for 8 complete sugar plants in African sub continent.

Products and Industries Served[edit]

Sintech Pumps manufacture several pumps for the Sugar Industry like torque flow pumps for mill house application, vertical mixed flow and turbine pumps for injection and cooling water and dynamic sealing pumps.

Other industries served by Sintech Pumps include sea water desalination Plants, waste water management, energy generation plants, steel industries, pulp and paper manufacturing plants and processing industries.

Achievements[edit]

  • 2007: Received ISO 9001:2000 certification.
  • 2015: ISO 14001:2004 certification and OHSAS 18001:2007.
  • Manufacturer as per the international standards: DIN-24255/ISO-2858/IS – 5120/HIS/IS – 1520 and are tested as per IS-9137, API-610 & ISO – 2548.
