The phrase, "Silver Water," from a moving short story by Amy Bloom, has stayed with me now for many years. I'm happy to have it be my moniker here.
I became interested in editing Wikipedia when I saw that the Native name for Eugene, Oregon, was not included in its history. After months of research and consultation with a Native ethnohistorian, I have a draft ready to go. I have corrected the omission of the Native name and added indigenous history to the history already cited in Wikipedia. I just don't know how to add it yet.
