Being bold is important on Wikipedia.

To be bold is to take risks. Boldness is usually associated with confidence and courage. [1]

In Wikipedia, this means that you don't let what you think is "proper" define what topic you pick.[2] (Your topic should still have adequate coverage and sources to pull form through!) It means that you take the risk and put your work out there. Being bold is important on Wikipedia.
