Priyankaa Bhattacharya (Born 20 march 1990) is a Indian professional Playback Singer and Composer from the Holy land of Varanasi. At the age of five Priyankaa started learning Indian classical music. Priyankaa gave her first stage performance at very initial age of her childhood. she plays harmonium, guitar and keyboards. Priyankaa is a classically trained vocalist, she has completed her masters in music from Banaras Hindu University and Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh University. Priyankaa is a all India gold medalist in classical music.

Priyankaa has sung the song sanam in Inder Kumar's starer film phati-padi-hai-yaar under the label of Zee Music Company. priyankaa has also sung the song bheeg-jane-do in Zee Music Company's Film Chahat Ya Nasha. priyankaa has also done backing vocals in Cocktail (2012 film), Mausam (2011 film), R...Rajkumar, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan
Priyankaa has done playback for many music directors like Pritam Chakraborty, Krsna Solo, Tanishk Bagchi, Jeet Gannguli, Rahid Khan and Many more.
Priyankaa has done playback with many renowned singers like Udit Narayan, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shadaab Faridi, Mohit Chauhan, Tochi Raina, Shahid Mallya, Raja Hasan, Brijesh Shandilya, Ritu Pathak, Sadhana Sargam and many more.
Composer[edit]
Priyankaa started her career as a composer with her own single "Kyun Gaye Tum" which has been released and appreciated by T-Series. Many senior singers and music directors like Anandji Virji Shah appreciated her work and encouraged her as composer. This encouragement gave priyankaa, a second thought and energy to work as a composer. After that, Priyankaa bhattacharya releases dozens of fresh songs of her own compositions worldwide.
The range and style of her compositions are very vast and innovative. From devotional to fusion, from romantic to patriotic from gazals to peppy numbers, all the colors are there in her composition's bouquet. Many singers like Tochi Raina, Raja Hasan, Brijesh Shandilya, Asit Tripathi, Ritu Pathak etc gave their voices to priyankaa's composition.

Till date Priyankaa has done more than a five hundred stage shows with many renowned companies like larenon, State Bank of India,BIG FM 92.7, Kingdom of Dreams, Aplomb-Health-Care-Limited, Goonj,Jaipur Literature Festival,Lucknow Literary Festival and many more. She is also a Lead female vocalist in Neelesh Misra's Story Telling band.
Priyankaa has also shared the stage with many renowned artists like Shabbir Kumar,Palash Sen,Abhijeet Bhattacharya,Udit Narayan,Raja Hasan.
Recent Activity[edit]
Her latest release Tumko Naman is touching the heart of the mass. This song is a tribute to those front-line workers who are serving the nation during the pandemic of Covid19. In this anthem, Many renowned Personalities like, Ashish Vidyarthi, Anandji Virji Shah, Rajpal Yadav, Shahbaz Khan, Brijendra Kala, Jameel Khan, Virendra Saxena and many more came forward to join their hands with Priyankaa to salute corona Warriors.
Early Stage Of Career[edit]
Priyankaa Moved to Bombay in 2012, she started her career as playback singer in 2013 with punjabi movie called Just U&me Under the label of "Sangeet Entertainment" with music director Gurmeet Singh.
Priyankaa has given her voices in many jingles and Television commercials like Bum Chums, Spinz, Venky's and many more. Priyankaa has also sung the title track of the famous tv serial Baawre which was aired on Life OK in 2015.
Priyankaa was seen in Coke Studio season 3 with Ram Sampath and Sona Mohapatra.
She has worked as playback singer for Anurag Basu's Stories by Rabindranath Tagore Television series which was got broadcast on Epic TV in 2015.
Priyankaa was the top eight contestant of Sahara One's Pride Of U.P. in 2011.
Personal Life[edit]
Priyankaa belongs to a Bengali family. Her Father Mr. Atanu Kr. Bhattacharya is a retired Government officer of the Power Corporation of India. Mr. Bhattacharya is also a trained Classical Tabla player. The love and Passion for music in priyankaa, comes from her father. Her younger brother Vishal Bhattacharya is working for a Multi National Company. Like father, vishal is also a trained Tabla Player.
Priyankaa's Mother Mrs. Neelam Gogia Bhattacharya comes from a Punjabi Family. Before marriage Neelam used to work with Mr. Bhattacharya in same department, where they both found a perfect life partner in each other and they tied their Knot.
Priyankaa entrenched from Gwalior gharana. Apart from Banaras Hindu University and Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Priyankaa got Training from PanditDevashish dey, Pandit Mani Prasad and PanditGautam Mukherjee.
Priyankaa has done her academics from Sun Beam Schools, Varanasi. Her Grandfather Late Shree Durga Das Bhattacharya was the Freedom fighter. he was the key member of Swaraj Abhiyan and Indian independence movement.
