Meridian Gaming Ltd was founded in 2007. It is licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta with registered office at Valletta. Meridian Gaming is also licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission. The continuation license is issued under Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005 pursuant to Article 3 of the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014 (Transitional Provisions) Order 2014 (“the Order”) on 29 October 2014 and is valid from 1 November 2014. The Company has more than 500 employees. The Company's offices are not strictly centralised. The employees are working in two main headquarters: Belgrade (Serbia) and Valletta (Malta). The Company has more than 30 partners in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa providing them with online and land-based sportsbook solutions, RNG, Casino, Live Dealer Casino, Payments, Virtual Games, eSports Betting, Fantasy Sports, Empty Bet and Customer Support. Early Warning System - EWS[edit]
Meridian supports the Early Warning System (EWS) put in place by the world football association FIFA. Through this early warning system, anything suspicious, such as excessively high bets, will be reported to the FIFA not matter which match is involved. The EWS experts are monitoring the world betting market and are in contact with the investigative authorities in order to keep the sport clean.[2]
Remote gambling association - RGA[edit]
The RGA is the largest online gambling trade association in the world, representing most of the world’s largest licensed and stock market-listed remote gambling operators and software providers.[3]
Responsible Gambling Trust - RGT[edit]
Responsible Gambling Trust (RGT) is the leading charity in the UK committed to minimising gambling-related harm. As an independent national charity funded by donations from the gambling industry, RGT funds education, prevention and treatment services and commissions research to broaden public understanding of gambling-related harm. European Organisation for Gaming Law - EOGL[edit]
Meridian Gaming Ltd is member of EOGL - European Organization for Gaming Law. The European Organisation for Gaming Law (EOGL) is the Brussels – nonprofit organisation which represents European gaming and betting operators, licensed and regulated with EU law.[5] EOGL promotes the development of a safe and reliable European gaming environment for all kind of players. Our organisation developed the project “It is possible to quit“.A key objective of the organisation is to promote safe, secure and reliable environment in game of chance.[5]
