User:SD0001/DYK-helper/Fixing nomination

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It appears that DYK-helper is having trouble finding the correct place for your nomination at Template talk:Did you know.

While your DYK nomination page ("Template:Did you know nominations/ARTICLENAME") has been created, the transclusion to nomination listing page could not be done. Please transclude the nomination page manually at the proper section at Template talk:Did you know.

This is most likely because someone has accidentally removed a particular header or wikitext comment that the script looks for on the page.

The header and comment should look like this (lines below are shown to provide some context):

===Articles created/expanded on May 30===
<!-- After you have created your nomination page, please add it (e.g., {{Did you know nominations/YOUR ARTICLE TITLE}}) to the TOP of this section (after this comment).-->
{{Did you know nominations/Soap}}
{{Did you know nominations/Clock}}

The header and comment must be on separate lines by themselves, immediately before the first discussion for the date.

To make DYK-helper work again, edit Template talk:Did you know and re-insert the comment in the correct place (or remove other, extraneous text from the line on which it is found).

Further questions should be directed to Wikipedia talk:Did you know or User talk:SD0001.
