I first got to know about Wikipedia when I was researching some work about my home country, Malaysia.

I then became an avid user and began to understand more about WP through browsing pages and articles. I took a keen interest only recently to edit (mainly minor edits) when I found out that only referenced materials was accepted as primary sources.

It intrigued me more when I found out that a lot of articles in Malaysia do not necessarily project the right information, and with WP:NPOV I became even more attracted to this self repairing and improving project. I am even more impressed with WP because of other policies that are not self serving like this WP:ADVERT and WP:NOTDIRECTORY!

I have since tried to be more active, and will soon put up a whole page of an article by myself (once I find the article that is missing , Malaysian centric that is!)

I am not keen to identify myself yet, but hopefully one day, I will be able to that without fear!
