Thomas (Tom) Henry Skinner[edit]

Thomas Henry Skinner (born 6th February 1991) is a British entrepreneur, sportsman and television personality, best known for appearing in the BBC TV series The Apprentice. He is the founder and director of The Fluffy Pillow Company .

Early Life[edit]

Tom Skinner was born in Romford, East London and is the eldest of three children. He went to school in the local area, where he struggled with authority but showed an early aptitude for sports and entrepreneurialism.

From a young age he ran his own businesses, beginning with a car washing round which he started with his bike and a bucket. He soon moved on to working in East End markets buying and selling stock, where he learnt important skills for his future enterprises.

The Apprentice[edit]

Skinner appeared in season 15 of The Apprentice, making it to the quarter finals. His highlights included traveling to South Africa to manage wine tasting and safari tours, and inventing a talking frog in the children’s toy challenge. He left in week nine following the music management challenge, but has gained a supportive fan base for his honest, open and enthusiastic approach to business.

The Fluffy Pillow Company[edit]

Skinner established London based company The Fluffy Pillow Company in January 2019. The company specializes in beds, mattresses and memory foam

pillows for a wide range of corporate and private clients around the world. The company was established after he bought a large order of mattresses from a wholesaler and was inundated with more orders, along with requests for quality pillows. The company’s memory foam pillows have been designed in partnership with industry sleep specialists and are crafted in the UK.

Personal Life[edit]

Skinner lives in London, England. He is a keen boxer and rugby player, and an avid supporter of West Ham Football Club.
