- Comment: A single source isn't enough to establish notability. Also, this needs at the very least a lead section (see WP:MOSLEAD) to establish context and define the subject. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:21, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Raid[edit]
This rebellion was barely suppressed when the Marathas launched their second invasion of the Bijapuri upper Kanara in early 1673). He was the first to enter the company house. And he dug it and picked up all the broad cloth from it and took it to his commander sitting in the market. However, Muzaffar Khan immediately arrived on the scene with 4,000 cavalry and saved the city from complete destruction. In June Bahlol Khan captured Kolhapur with a large Bijapuri army and defeated the Marathas in several encounters. In late September we defeated Shivaji. Finds him at the head of a great army formed for "some notable efforts against the Mughals". (10 October), two serious defeats at the hands of Bahlol and Sharja Khan respectively at a fort forced him to quickly evacuate Kanara[2]
