From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucidview is an emerging South African IT company[1][2] specialising in the field of WAN management and reporting technology. In the South African marked where IT infrastructure and specifically internet costs are considered expensive, the desire for a local offering specifically designed with the local conditions in mind was delivered to the market. South Africans have a proven track record of delivering world class products and according to iWeek magazine[3] Lucidview falls into this category.

The product offerings are designed on the premise that you cannot manage what you cannot see. This is important as it is considered by the International data corporation[4] that 40 % of internet activity is not business related. This is relevant as many product offerings accelerate specific internet protocols and do not distinguish based on the content of the traffic.
