From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nyctimene is a rather new and inexperienced Wikipedian still trying to work things out. I decided to join up because, whilst by no means a professional photographer, I felt I had some rather nice pictures I could add to certain articles. After so many years using the site it also felt good to give something back to the community. As for edits I'm happy to rewrite things if I think I can improve the flow of the text. I'm also a stickler for spelling, grammar and good citations. I'm keen to get more involved though and am actively looking for more ways to contribute. I have a law degree from King's College, Cambridge as well as some expertise/interest in mythology, literature and religion. If I can help with any of these areas please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll do my best.

Current Projects[edit]

I am currently adding some photos of various sites in Paris, Istanbul, Verona and India. In addition I am reviewing the, "Metamorphoses in Greek mythology" category trying to improve the citations as well as add value to the articles. A slightly arcane area I know but its often in such areas that we can add the most value.

Metamorphoses in Greek Mythology: Articles to Review[edit]

I plan to review all these pages. In particular I am looking to identify classical sources, as opposed to mere website links, and reference them. I am looking to add content, highlight parallels with other myths and make sure none of the articles are left as stubs. If anyone wants to help I'd be delighted. Feel free to mark the page as done and leave a signature below. Immediate priorities include Theophane, Minthe, Mestra, Menippe and Metioche, Lethaea, Gerana and Echo (mythology).
