History[edit]

Early History[edit]

Steve Williams was born February 17th, 1989 in Abington, Pennsylvania. He moved around as a child, finally settling in Ashburn, Virginia for thre years. It was while living in Virginia that Williams first became interested in music. A friend of his would let him use his piano, and Williams discovered that he could make music with it. When he was eleven, Steve and his family moved back to Pennsylvnia, where Williams went to see his first band: Sinch. Soon after, he received a Squire Bullet and began taking guitar lessons. He also taught himself how to play the drums and the keyboard, and how to sing. When he began high school, he joined a few bands, but none worked out. Williams began gathering recording equipment and self-recorded his first song, "Cat Machine". In tenth grade, Williams wrote "Remote Transfer" using a drum loop, a Yamaha keyboard, and a Boss DD-6 Delay pedal. Soon after in July 2005, he recorded his first demo album which he called Forgotten Citizen. It contained nine tracks and was released August 1st, 2005.

Career[edit]

Early career[edit]

Steve Williams then began attending the University of Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time, he abandoned music and eventually moved down to Florida. In 2008, he took up writing music seriously again, and quickly finished his first non-demo album Twenty Second Century EP. In the fall of 2009, Williams bought his zentai suit, which he uses in order to show "that the music is what's important, not the performer".[1]

2010 and Beyond[edit]

Forgotten Citizen is planning on performing more live shows, and is also creating another album that is tentatively dubbed "The Philadelphia Experiment". Forgotten Citizen also currently has more that one thousand followers on Facebook.
