Luis Manuel Urbaneja Achepohl (Caracas, Venezuela, February 25, 1873-September 5, 1937) was a Venezuelan writer and journalist. He is considered as the initiator of the Venezuelan modern tale. The incorporation of realism and naturalistic forms of fiction allowed Urbaneja Achepohl to perform the Creole.[1]
