greetings. i generally go by just "smartygirl" when i roam the internet typing in lazy lower-case, but someone took my username before i got a chance to register here. boo.

my interests are generally quite unconnected to one another, but include 80s new-wave pop, deafness, grammar, knitting, film, russian literature, etc. etc.

mainly i just go around wikipedia fixing annoying verb tense errors. the past is past, people! also, reformatting in-line citations into proper reference lists.

i promise to use proper capitalisation on pages other than this one.
