2014[edit]

July 2014[edit]

  1. Daniel Larson: PROD; notified Boleyn (talk · contribs) 04:01, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: No credible claim of notability. His "books" turn out to be Microsoft technical manuals; he is listed as a coauthor.
Followup: The article was deleted. The "Daniel Larson" linked here is a different person.--MelanieN (talk) 20:21, 21 September 2014 (UTC)

September 2014[edit]

  1. The Johnson Award: PROD; notified Darklord6969 (talk · contribs) 01:15, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Brand new award, no indication of significance.
  2. Teiosha George: PROD; notified Iuuxx3 (talk · contribs) 01:23, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: College basketball player; never played professionally; does not meet Wikipedia standards for inclusion.
  3. Roy Allkin: PROD; notified Tony James Williams (talk · contribs) 02:31, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable person. No significant independent coverage found in a search. Awards are not major.
  4. Republic of New Plymouth: PROD; notified MrPahoehoe (talk · contribs) 05:01, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: No evidence that this "republic" exists. A search found only this article and a Facebook page. Sounds like something made up one day. Could even be a hoax, based on the fact that the "flag" image does not match the description of the flag in text.
  5. George Zongolopoulos Foundation: PROD; notified Rattledays (talk · contribs) 06:15, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable foundation which fails WP:ORG. If we had an article about the sculptor himself, George Zongoloupoulos, we could redirect it there. But we don't have an article about the sculptor, and I do not believe he would qualify for an article - based on a search of Google, Google Books, and Google Scholar.
  6. Blind Tour: PROD; notified Css1986 (talk · contribs) 00:41, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unverified. The concept of the article - touring while blindfolded - is not supported by the references, which are about tourism by blind people. Possible joke or hoax.
  7. China to US rail line: PROD; notified Greshthegreat (talk · contribs) 00:44, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Speculation. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball.
  8. Onondaga County Criminal Courthouse: PROD; notified OHA Syracuse (talk · contribs) 00:47, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: No evidence of notability for this building.
  9. Glass Care: PROD; notified Aamjens (talk · contribs) 01:08, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
  10. Wordscape: PROD; notified InsightSeeker (talk · contribs) 01:21, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Neologism.
  11. Mohalla Muraad Khail: PROD; notified Syfi Malik7 (talk · contribs) 23:45, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not notable. This "rural area" appears to be a privately owned family compound. I could find no confirmation that this exists as a place, in a search of Google, Google News, Google Scholar and Google Books. I also tried spelling variations. The only reference on the web to this subject appears to be this article, making it totally unverified.
  12. Fispeven analysis: PROD; notified Rlivings (talk · contribs) 00:09, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: I think this is a hoax. I could find absolutely no support for this term at Google, Google Scholar or Google Books; the only thing that turned up in a search was this article. There apparently was an Augustine Hay, an obscure Scottish cleric, but I could find nothing connecting him with this subject. Both articles were written by the same editor on the same day.
  13. Augustine Hay: PROD; notified Rlivings (talk · contribs) 00:11, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This article appears to have been written as part of a hoax, namely, the article about Fispeven analysis. I could find absolutely no support for that term at Google, Google Scholar or Google Books; the only thing that turned up in a search was Wikipedia. There apparently really was an Augustine Hay, an obscure Scottish cleric, but I could find nothing connecting him with the "Fispeven analysis" and he does not appear to have been notable. Both articles were written by the same editor on the same day.

October 2014[edit]

  1. The Oliovski Rotation Technique: PROD; notified LesPractitioner (talk · contribs) 00:15, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unverified, unknown technique. I could find absolutely nothing about this supposed technique or its supposed developer at Google, Google Books or Google Scholar.
  2. Mary Riddle: PROD; notified Rexwevk (talk · contribs) 00:24, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: The subject does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion at WP:ACADEMIC. Academic position is not notable and Google Scholar citations are insufficient.
  3. Business Cooperation Cultural Integration: PROD; notified Wriether (talk · contribs) 00:37, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is an essay/synthesis; see WP:What Wikipedia is not. Offhand I don't see a good target for a merge/redirect.
  4. William Sullivant Vanderbilt Allen: PROD; notified Pensaro (talk · contribs) 00:55, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This artist does not appear to have been notable. In a search I found only a few catalog listings, items for sale. I found nothing at Google Books or Google Scholar about him or his significance as an artist.
  5. The Student Fund: PROD; notified UKFinance (talk · contribs) 01:57, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: No verification; no evidence of notability. In a search I could not find anything at all except social media. The website listed in the article, TheStudentFund.org, does not exist. The Twitter account for The Student Fund says "coming soon" so it's possible the Fund does not even exist yet.
  6. The Art of Dialling: PROD; notified Ggitzen (talk · contribs) 03:36, 5 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Maybe I'm just not getting it - because this article never says what it is about. The first paragraph is apparently a verbatim quote about an antique book, in antique language, copied from other sources, for example this - coming across as nonsense when it is simply quoted without explanation. The second paragraph sounds like it might be a catalog entry from a Sotheby's sale. The third sentence appears to be an irrelevant comment about a relative of the author. As it stands the "article" makes no sense. Maybe if it was rewritten to show what it is about, we could determine whether there is a notable subject in here somewhere, but that certainly isn't evident at this point. G1 speedy was declined, see talk page.
  7. List of proposed scenarios and technologies for de-carbonizing Europe: PROD; notified Engineman (talk · contribs) 00:57, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
  8. Spot 6 Management: PROD; notified Smatyasfalvi (talk · contribs) 01:08, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Looks like pure spam for a company that does not meet our criteria for inclusion. I tagged it for speedy deletion under G-11, but the author has removed the speedy tag twice, while making no improvements. It's true they are not supposed to do that, but let's cut them some slack: they are new. So I am proposing it for deletion instead. That will give them a week to fix it if they are so inclined.
  9. Kif valentine: PROD; notified Menica1 (talk · contribs) 16:10, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not notable. At first I wondered if this was a hoax, but apparently not; the musician has some presence on social media. However, I could find no coverage at all in Independent Reliable Sources. Not eligible for speedy deletion because of the claimed awards.
  10. European Day of Speech and Language Therapy: PROD; notified CPLOLeu (talk · contribs) 23:46, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This anniversary or "day" does not appear to be notable as Wikipedia defines it. The only reference I could find was on the web page of the sponsoring association. That association has no article here, so there is no possibility of a redirect.

November 2014[edit]

  1. Dairy Cattle Genetics: PROD; notified RachelBenschop (talk · contribs) 19:20, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or proposal for a particular company (Semex) to export its products to Nepal. I don't know whether to call it promotional; it looks more like some kind of internal company document; but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  2. Uglydolls (TV series): PROD; notified Gklisforgabrielkleolozada (talk · contribs) 23:13, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Supposed TV series based on the Uglydoll franchise, but I could find no confirmation of any of the information in this article. In fact the article actually states that no references are available. Since nothing is confirmed, not even the existence of the series, I would oppose a merge/redirect to Uglydolls.
  3. Ree Mthology: PROD; notified Dodoryan (talk · contribs) 00:00, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: The article is basically incoherent. Maybe it's a language problem, but the article literally makes no sense, so it's impossible to determine if the subject is notable or how it relates to any other subject. BTW the title is misspelled, but that is the least of this article's problems.
  4. CDC Baler Oat: PROD; notified Hilpri (talk · contribs) 00:57, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or proposal for a particular company (CDC) to export its commercial oat seed (CDC Baler) to Nepal. I don't know whether to call it promotional; it looks more like some kind of internal company document; but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  5. Exportation of Canadian Lentils to Nepal: PROD; notified Theodore.R.V (talk · contribs) 01:02, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or proposal about whether Canadian lentils should be exported to Nepal. This article (unlike several others created today) doesn't seem to be commercial, it reads more like an analysis or maybe a school assignment - but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  6. Canadian corn export: PROD; notified Ppieper (talk · contribs) 02:04, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or proposal about whether a particular brand of Canadian corn seeds should be exported to Nepal. It doesn't really read as commercial, it reads more like an analysis or maybe a school assignment - but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  7. Sorghum-Sudan Hybrid Grass: PROD; notified Breesedawg96 (talk · contribs) 02:10, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or proposal encouraging Canadian farmers to grow a particular variety of grass. This article (unlike several others created today) doesn't seem to be commercial; it reads more like an analysis or maybe a school assignment - but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  8. Fruit tree grafting: PROD; notified Alessiamacri (talk · contribs) 02:24, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or business proposal about exporting Canadian tree grafting technology to Nepal. The generic information is duplicated at grafting. This article (unlike several others created today) doesn't seem to be commercial, it reads more like business boosterism for a particular technology or maybe a school assignment - but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  9. Dairyprincess: PROD; notified Victoriafall2014 (talk · contribs) 22:40, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Statewide beauty pageant-type event; does not appear to meet notability guidelines. I could find no outside coverage to demonstrate that this program receives coverage from independent reliable sources.

December 2014[edit]

  1. Right to a family: PROD: notified Asdfganistan (talk · contribs) 06:25 1 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Basically no content. Article has no references and consists of a single POV sentence. I can't think of any likely target for a redirect.
  2. Effective microorganisms (EM) for accelerating composting: PROD; notified Mdubon (talk · contribs) 16:12, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article; it is a research paper about exporting EM technology from Canada to Nepal. EM is a trademarked name for a particular technology, so the article is also spam, in that it promotes that product. We already have an article about Effective microorganisms.
  3. Climbing Black Pepper: PROD; notified Farmerboy37 (talk · contribs) 17:12, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article. It appears to be an analysis or research paper about exporting Canadian black pepper seeds to Nepal. The generic information is duplicated at the existing article Black pepper. There is nothing new here that needs to be merged to there, and this title is not a helpful redirect. This article (unlike several others created at the same time) does not seem to be promoting a commercial product - it reads more like a school assignment - but in any case it doesn't belong at Wikipedia.
  4. Nepalese Climbing Moth Bean: PROD; notified XTYger94x (talk · contribs) 00:04, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not a Wikipedia article; it is an essay about growing a particular crop in Nepal and exporting it to Canada. This is one of a series of recent articles about exporting between Canada and Nepal, each by a different user, possibly a school assignment. We already have an article about the moth bean, Vigna aconitifolia.
  5. Self-Centered Theory of Behavior: PROD; notified Rjay Tugay (talk · contribs) 00:20, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Appears to be a non-notable theory, proposed by a student, and having received no coverage at all that I could find. Close to meeting WP:MADEUP.
  6. Nepalese honey: PROD; notified Loumiefrance (talk · contribs) 21:00, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not a Wikipedia article; it is an analysis or research paper about exporting honey from Nepal to Canada. (Note the article says "The goal of this project is at least to promote Nepalese honey exports to Canada".) This is one of a recent series of 20 or 30 articles about exporting or importing agricultural products between those two countries; my hunch is that it is some kind of school assignment. In any case I don't find anything here that can be salvaged to make an encyclopedia article.
  7. Nepali orthodox tea: PROD; notified Rmacke02 (talk · contribs) 14:27, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article; it is an essay or report about the commercial cultivation of this particular kind of tea in Nepal. It is part of a recent cluster of such essays, described here. We already have an article about the tea plant, Camellia sinensis.
  8. Maofeng green tea: PROD; notified Caseymarie.m (talk · contribs) 14:32, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article; it is an essay or report about the commercial possibilities of exporting this type of tea from Nepal. It is part of a recent cluster of such essays, described here. We already have an article on Huangshan Maofeng.
  9. Nepalese walnuts: PROD; notified Bradenweltz (talk · contribs) 16:51, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article; it is an essay or report about the commercial possibilities of walnut growing in Nepal. It is part of a recent cluster of such essays, described here. We already have an article on this walnut species at Juglans regia.
  10. Nepalese Wai Wai Noodle: PROD; notified AgLover234 (talk · contribs) 16:59, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not an encyclopedia article; it is an essay or study paper about the commercial importance of manufacturing Wai Wai noodles in Nepal. This article is part of a recent cluster of such essays, described here. Most of this article is an essay or research paper; the rest of it is duplicated elsewhere at Wikipedia. We already have Wai Wai (food), a redirect which points to the Chaudhary Group.
  11. Nepalese Buckwheat: PROD; notified MS-Samson (talk · contribs) 19:00, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is not really an encyclopedia article; it is an analysis of the economic and practical aspects of growing buckwheat in Nepal. It is part of a recent cluster of such essays, described here. We already have an article on Buckwheat; I merged a little of the non-promotional material from this article to that one. I suppose redirect is a possibility but this is an unlikely search term.
  12. Main Page ontario auto insurance law: PROD; notified Natalieclarke (talk · contribs) 00:29, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This isn't an encyclopedia article; it's a POV rant against the auto insurance law in Ontario. Also, the title makes no sense. I wish I could think of an appropriate criterion for speedy deletion.
  13. Islamic Counseling: PROD; notified Tmzayed159 (talk · contribs) 17:05, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is an essay, not a Wikipedia article. It offers a few original thought/POV comments about Islam and counseling, then recommends a journal article written by the author/user. Earlier this month an article by the same user under the same title was deleted as a copyvio. (The author had posted his entire article here, under a good-faith misunderstanding of Wikipedia's copyright rules).
  14. Computer lo marchabadda bomma: PROD; notified Kaushik annangi (talk · contribs) 18:31, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Wikipedia is not a dictionary.
  15. The desert named dundayn east of the garden where the chosen and rightous dwell: PROD; notified Robert kammerdiener (talk · contribs) 18:39, 25 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Original research or essay; unreferenced. I think the author is trying to say something about a desert called Dundayn mentioned in the Book of Enoch, but the article is very unclear.
  16. Sujok: PROD; notified Smile0574 (talk · contribs) 00:26, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
    • Reason: Original research, unverified, unsourced. An article like this needs actual medical sources per WP:MEDRS; we cannot allow this kind of claim to remain here without them. Note that articles under this title have been deleted three times previously.

2015[edit]

January 2015[edit]

  1. Le Courrier de Floride: PROD; notified GwendalGauthier (talk · contribs) 05:13, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Does not appear to meet Wikipedia's guidelines for a publication, since there is no independent coverage about it. Probable Conflict of Interest, since the article was created by an editor with the same name as the publisher of the paper.
  2. Psychecology: PROD; notified YijunLiuLab (talk · contribs) 05:27, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Nothing but a definition. Wikipedia is not a dictionary.
  3. Alumni of Nalanda (Boys') Central College: PROD; notified Harshasd (talk · contribs) 05:33, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: No content. Apparently intended to list alumni of this school, but no alumni are listed.
  4. James Dodkins: PROD; notified Business guru1956 (talk · contribs) 21:29, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: This person does not appear to meet the WP:GNG or WP:BIO criteria for inclusion here. The only source provided is written by the subject, and in a search I could not find any coverage from independent reliable sources. The article is promotional in tone, but that can be fixed. Failure to meet GNG cannot be fixed.
  5. Yellow scholarship: PROD; notified Gelassenheit (talk · contribs) 06:24, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Dictionary definition of dubious validity. The source cited in the article appears to be the only instance where the term has been used; I could find no other examples in a search. It has certainly not passed into the language or become a common expression.
  6. Death of The Notorious B.I.G.: PROD; notified Shabba00009 (talk · contribs) 21:17, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is an unnecessary content fork of the article The Notorious B.I.G., where his death is already covered in great detail.
  7. Thomas Blanco White: PROD; notified Le petit fromage (talk · contribs) 23:11, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable attorney; article reads like an obituary, see WP:NOTMEMORIAL. Not quite eligible for speedy deletion since there are some claims of notability.
  8. Jocelyn Beaudoin: PROD; notified Toddsschneider (talk · contribs) 19:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable political figure; article unreferenced for many years. In addition there is a BLP problem: the article hints at wrongdoing but does not substantiate it.

February 2015[edit]

  1. Walter Marchetti: PROD; notified Sooo dexterous (talk · contribs) 01:39, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Composer does not appear to be notable, although the discography is confirmed. I was unable to confirm even the existence of a University of Hoggar. Was previously BLP-PRODded, but sources have been added.
  2. Brian Morton (News anchor): PROD; notified CookieMonster755 (talk · contribs) 21:03, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Local news anchor; no evidence of notability as Wikipedia defines it. The only references are self-referential. The "numerous awards" are not specified in the article or the source.
  3. Ashley Hall (News anchor): PROD; notified CookieMonster755 (talk · contribs) 21:05, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Local news anchor; no evidence of notability as Wikipedia defines it. The only references are self-referential.
  4. Erin Maxson: PROD; notified CookieMonster755 (talk · contribs) 21:13, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Local news anchor; not notable as Wikipedia defines it. The listed references are self-referential. I could find no independent reliable sources in a search.
  5. Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax: PROD; notified Informativepro1 (talk · contribs) 18:44, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not encyclopedic; reads more like instructions than an article. In any case the subject itself does not seem to be deserving of a separate article; Google search finds only IRS links and passing mentions in news stories. I can't think of a good redirect target.

November 2015[edit]

  1. Spanish Tutors Hong Kong: PROD; notified Clerkchakrit (talk · contribs) 21:25, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
    • Reason: Small tutoring service with no evidence of notability. Of the three references provided, the first is a general article which does not mention this company; the second does not support the information it is cited for; and the third is the company's own website.

2016[edit]

January 2016[edit]

  1. OpBernHRC: PROD; notified William Mellor (talk · contribs) 03:15, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
    • Reason: No valid sources for any of these claims. In a search I could find no independent coverage at all.

March 2016[edit]

  1. Sam Greenblatt: PROD; notified Leporidae (talk · contribs) 00:44, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
    • Reason: The subject does not appear to meet notability guidelines. I declined BLP-PROD on technical grounds, because the sources listed under external links could be considered as references; however they are not sufficient to show notability.
  2. Gellu Srinivas yadav: PROD; notified Gelluou (talk · contribs) 18:17, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable person. None of the reported activities or positions amount to notability, and the article is almost completely unverified. I declined BLP-PROD on technical grounds, since the article does contain one reference. However, I don't feel this person meets Wikipedia's criteria for an article here, as per WP:BIO.

July 2016[edit]

  1. The Right Side of the Brain: PROD; notified Rainbase (talk · contribs) 18:21, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable album. Note that the parent band's article has been userfied (in effect deleted) so there is currently nothing to redirect this article to.
  2. Desert Rain's American Dream: PROD; notified Rainbase (talk · contribs) 18:22, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
    • Reason: Non-notable album. Note that the parent band's article has been userfied (in effect deleted) so there is no target for a redirect.

July 2017[edit]

  1. Matrka: Voices Within: PROD; notified Viktory85 (talk · contribs) 22:03, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
    • Reason: Book which appears to have gotten no coverage. In a search I could not locate any of the references cited, or anything else about this book. The publishing company website is defunct and has been taken over by someone else.
