Roman Holiday is a musical with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, and a book by Paul Blake. Based on the 1953 film of the same name, the musical tells the story of a young European princess and the American reporter who inadvertently aids in her escape from a whirlwind European tour, resulting in an unforgettable 24 hours in Italy’s capital

Productions[edit]

It debuted at The Muny in St. Louis, Missouri on July 9, 2001.[1] The production moved to the Guthrie Theatre in 2012 [2] and the Golden Gate Theatre in 2017.[3]

Moulin Rouge! is a musical with a book by John Logan. The musical is based on the 2001 film of the same name, by Baz Luhrmann.[24]It is expected to receive its world premiere at the American Repertory Theater in May 2018.
