Megan Peeler was born on the 29th day of December 1984 in San Antonio, TX. Raised in Texas her entire life, Megan had the advantage of learning the Art world and Cultures that surrounded her. From a young age in preschool Megan realized she had a talent for Art and Design. Being featured in school talent art shows and winning multiple 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards set the path for her future. By high school Megan completed many classes based on Fine Art and its history. Graduating high school in 2006 Megan continued creating and designing art. It wasn’t until 2009 that she set out for College and decided to attend the International Academy of Design and Technology in San Antonio Texas. Enrolled for her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design, Megan set forward as Valedictorian of her graduating class in 2013. With a degree in hand, she went from College to starting a non profit organization we now know as the “Creative Cure.” A charitable organization created to raise money through Art Exhibits for various Cancer research studies to find a cure. Along with the success of Creative Cure, Megan decided to create and publish the “Creative Cure” magazine in 2015. Featuring many artists, students, and patients who have contributed to raising money by selling they’re art work through the Creative Cure “Breaking through Barriers to Save a Life” exhibit. Held 6 times a year through MoMa, (Museum of Modern Art) in New York City at 11 West 53 Street New York, NY 10019 on the last Friday of February, April, June, August, October and December . Currently to date the Creative Cure has raised upwards 2.5 million dollars to fund research to find a cure. It is said that there is a Documentary Film in process of being filmed featuring a year in the life of the Creative Cure founder Megan A. Peeler as well as the many Artists and patients with the new ventures every exhibit brings to life with in the Organization. It is set to be released February 2021.
