Ukrainians in the National Hockey League (NHL) consist of both Ukrainian nationals as well as members of the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada, the United States, and Russia who in their professional careers have either been drafted by NHL teams or played in the league. The fist player to compete in the league was __________ whereas the first player to be drafted was ___________. Nine of the 13 players to enter the NHL entry draft have been selected in the first round. Dave Andreychuk has played the most games (1,639) and goals (604) among Ukrainians in the league, while Dale Hawerchuk holds the title for points with 1,409.
