A Dark Place is a 2018 meta-horror video game developed and published by XerStudios. The game is a sequel to the 2017 meta-horror video game My Place. The game features an unnamed protagonist in a dark room with a locked door and a music box, which the player must wind up such music box, after the music box is winded up, the door opens, then a White Face chases and jumpscares the player. Afterwards, the player must traverse through 4 levels through a hub world with 4 music boxes in such levels. However, the white face mentioned earlier tries to constantly hinders the player. [2]
This game has often been compared to Imscared, due to the similarities of altering the player's files, and antagonists.
