For every obscure thing you can think of, there are obsessive fans of that thing on the Internet.

Original Inspiration[edit]

Y'know, it's such a nice piece (especially after I cleaned it) that I was thinking the same thing. It would be a cool conversion. A neat thing about it is that it has a light in the bottom dome as well as the side. Kinda cool. Once I started googling, I found a lot of info about this company...and that there are whole websites dedicated to people who collect lanterns and flashlights. Probably some kind of Internet Law like Poe's or Godwin's: for every obscure thing you can think of, there are obsessive fans of that thing.
