Julian Bray, Corporate Counsel , Motivational speaker, broadcaster,author, journalist and presenter started with the BBC , then emerging commercial radio and television networks in the UK and Europe. He has been a keynote speaker at conventions, and is listed in Debretts People of Today 2016 and for the last twenty two annual editions.

He is an expert on Aviation Safety and Airline Operations he frequently broadcasts, lectures, writes and advises international corporations. As CEO of a public affairs corporation, Leadenhall Associates he was a consultant to international corporations, airlines, and Governments. Julian Bray was for several years an international adviser to Dr Romano Prodi, the former Italian Premier and former European Commission President He was a consultant to Alitalia Group , a part of IRI , The Italian State Holding Company. He edited the international edition of the airlines safety and operations service manual, and handled air major incidents and created victim support systems now widely adopted by the industry. He advised several Governments on rescue and recovery strategies, particularly in conflict and war zones. He has acted as an independent facilitator between organisations and the world media. He is well known as a expert witness and media commentator. His eldest son Dominic Bray is a surgeon and his younger son Oliver Bray is the CEO of a major gap year travel organisation. His Daughter Amanda, a marketing expert.

Bray produced and directed TV series, which reawakened an interest in stage magic and illusions. Under the stage name of Ian Ray, he became a full member of the magician Magic Circle society, and is a performing member of Equity the Actors Union. He became a Life Member of the National Union of Journalists in January 2012, having completed 40 years as a member.
