'Morten Storm is a former Danish spy agent, radical Islamist militant, whistle-blower, writer, and activist. Storm was a part of the Danish biker gang [[Bandidos until he went to jail and converted to Islam. He then moved to London, and after talking with affiliates of Regent's Park Mosque, went to Yemen on a scholarship to study Arabic and Islam. Storm returned to London in the late 1990s and made friends with people such as the "shoe bomber" Richard Reid, 9/11 hijacker Zacarias Moussaoudi, and perhaps most importantly Anwar al-Awlaki, an American born of Yemeni descent who was leader of the al-Qaeda in Yemen terrorist organization and regarded second in threat beyond Osama bin Laden. Storm began helping al-Awlaki recruit Muslim Westerners to come train in Yemen and then return to their home countries to carry out terrorist attacks. Yet Storm became increasingly dissatified with the interpreation of Islam his fellow associates held to, especially in the way they indiscriminately killed and wounded civilians. "Now I thought of the twin towers, Bali, Madrid in 2004, London in 2005...If they were part of Allah's preordained plan, I now wanted no part of it. My loss of faith was as frightening as it was sudden." In the past Storm had been contacted by MI5, the British intelligence agency, and the PET, Denmark's intelligence agency, and Storm had refused requests to cooperate. After his change of faith, however, Storm agreed to help MI5, PET, and on some occasions the CIA, to dismantle and destory al-Qaeda.
