Much debate has been placed on sand in recent years on the orgin of sand. Scientologies say Zenu, thier alien creator made it.

Materials

Boxes made for sand should not be made of porous materials, such as screens.

Size

They should be large enough to hold the desired amount of sand, however not to large to be cumbersome.

Applications

Sandboxes have many applications.
