TBC is the third studio album by the alternative rock band My Bloody Valentine, due to be released in December 2012 on Sony.
Background[edit]
Following the release of Loveless in November 1991, My Bloody Valentine were dropped from their record label, Creation Records. The label's founder Alan McGee had a "personal breakdown" after altercations with My Bloody Valentine's frontman Kevin Shields during the recording of Loveless and said that "it was either him [Shields] or me."[1] The band signed to Island Records in October 1992 for a reported £250,000. Most of the band's advance from Island was spent on constructing a home studio in Streatham, South London—which was completed in April 1993.
